A worship center dedicated to discipling the youth of Haiti through the Arts…

Rodberry wants to take a trip to Haiti in the near future.

One project we want to see through is Phase 1 of installing 10 solar street lights in our neighborhood.
This would make a huge difference in overall security and development in the zone, and also create spaces for youth to study after dark.

We need $5,300, which is a small amount for such an impactful project!

We wanted to take a second to share about someone who is a bright light amidst the darkness and chaos in Haiti.

This is Kattia Louis.
When we first came to Hinche, Lizzy was asked to teach a group of church girls dance.
Dance groups (especially in church circles) wasn’t really a thing or accepted in the central plateau. We were starting from scratch.
But for the next 7yrs, this group grew in numbers and developed into something beautiful.

They were one of the most dedicated and talented groups I (Lizzy) had ever worked with.

If you’re ever in a leadership position, the goal is to always train disciples to replace you and go farther than you did.

At the 5yr mark, I began training the dancers in leadership skills, event planning, communication, and dance class leading.

Kattia quickly rose to the challenge and stewarded her gift with great responsibility and consistency.

She followed Jesus in public and in private.

Long story short, she took on the next generation of the Glory Dance team, and has since led other teams in the central plateau in my absence.
She recently received a plaque of appreciation for all her incredible efforts with the young people.
She has also won singing competitions and has her music on YouTube.

She is a gifted choreographer, leader, singer, and dancer.

I’m so proud of the work she is doing in Hinche & Pignon.
She and her team of leaders have made worship dance explode!

More than that, she’s discipling the next generation and releasing worship in a nation that desperately needs Jesus to breakthrough.

We need a little over $5,000 to start & complete Phase 1 of our Let there be Light Project:

1. 10 solar street lights along several roads.
2. The community would help install them and steward them before we move on to Phase 2 of lighting their homes.

We have the team on the ground to get it started, and Rodberry will fly down to see it through at the end of this year or beginning of next, as well as begin building the wall that so many ppl have been slowly but faithfully pouring into.

💡 Let there be LIGHT! 💡

As we were walking our land during the early stages of purchasing the property and digging the well, I noticed how quiet the zone was.
It was peaceful.

But like many zones in Haiti, once the sun set, it was dark.
Very dark.

The streets weren’t safe.
Kids couldn’t do homework or play
Parents couldn’t get last minute chores done.

We thought that one day, before our worship center was lit up, we’d love to see the streets and homes full of light.

This would be a loving act to show that God cares, but also revealing a spiritual reality that God wants to bring His light and WAKE His people UP.

No longer sitting in darkness.

It would also build good relationships with our neighbors.

We need $6,000 for Phase 1:
1. 10 solar street lights along several roads.
2. The community would help install them and steward them before we move on to Phase 2 of lighting their homes.

When you decide to give monthly, where does it actually go?

There are many needs to keep Revèy Haiti moving, and that’s why any amount the Lord leads you to give truly helps us invest in The Kingdom.

All gifts are tax deductible, and you can choose what you want your donation to specifically go to by mentioning it in the memo section on any giving option.

Here are some examples of what your giving covers:

Administrative:
- Legal (like filing taxes, lawyers for nonprofit paperwork…)
- Accounting fees
- Fundraising & office supplies (pamphlets, prayer cards, our table, online & giving subscriptions or fees, etc…)

Ministry:
- Let there be Light Project
- Supporting the Jacques Family (traveling, working for Revey, keeping them afloat while in the US)

Projects:
- Building the Wall & gate
- Storage depo
- First family apartment
- Paying a stipend to our on-the-ground projects’ coordinator.
- Land payments

There’s a lot of work to be done!

Our theme verse for Revèy Haiti is Matthew 4:16:
“The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.”

Like most neighborhoods in Haiti, the whole zone where our worship center is located goes dark at night.
No street lights, no lights at home.

We want to change that.

We are called to awaken hearts and turn the light on inside, but we also want to create a thriving, safe community around us.
For this reason, we are raising $6,000 to put up 10 solar powered street lights in the community by the end of 2026.

When that is done, it is the neighborhood’s job to steward and protect those lights from damage or theft.
If they are faithful in this, we move on to phase 2 of bringing light into individual homes.

Phase 3 will then be lighting up our worship center!
