We conduct training sessions in statistics, research methodology, and data analysis for researchers and institutional teams.

Not intro-level. Not generic. Training adapted to your actual needs and level.

We also run free videos on topics built for people who already work with data and need to go deeper. Videos cover methodology design, advanced analysis, and research evaluation frameworks.

Training sessions and videos are available in multiple languages because serious research doesn't stop at one border.

If you're part of a university, private institution, government body, not-for-profit, or research organization and want your team to be well-trained in those topics, please visit our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/) or book a training with us (https://icon.smartholding.ca/Contact).

Most consulting engagements lose a week before they start.

Back-and-forth emails. Vague scope calls. Proposals that don't match what you actually need. By the time work begins, momentum is already gone.

We built the SMARTICON platform specifically to remove that friction for research teams and institutional clients.

Here's how an engagement actually starts:

→ You visit the site (smarticon.ca) and explore our services - analytical and statistical work, training, protocol development, research evaluation
→ You submit a service request with your project description, timeline, and budget range
→ We respond with a clear scope, not a generic proposal
→ Work begins with a defined methodology, not assumptions

Every expert profile is visible. Every past project is documented. If we've run a webinar/video in your area of interest, you can watch it before you ever speak to us.

We serve researchers, universities, institutions, and government organizations, and we designed the entire intake process so that the first conversation is already informed.

No wasted calls. No scope creep from ambiguity. Just a clean start to serious work.

Explore the platform and submit a request at https://icon.smartholding.ca/Contact. The form takes less than five minutes.

Your portal to advanced statistical consulting, data analysis, and research methodology expertise. Engage with SMARTICON for data-driven solutions and unlock the strategic value of your data.

27/04/2026

Before SMARTICON: a dataset, a deadline, and no clear path from one to the other.

After: a validated methodology, clean statistical models, and findings your team can present to funders, boards, or government bodies with confidence.

The difference isn't just technical. It's strategic.

When your data tells a credible story, decisions get made. Budgets get approved. Programs get built.

We work with researchers, universities, not-for-profit organizations, private institutions, and agencies across sectors.

If your next project deserves that level of support, the consultation request form is open.

Link: https://icon.smartholding.ca/Contact. It takes 2 minutes to fill out.

You hired a data analyst. They handed you a 40-page output. Nobody on your team knows what to do with it.

This is the gap most consulting firms ignore.

They deliver the numbers. They don't translate them into decisions.

We work differently. From the first scoping call to the final debrief, we stay in the project, not just the analysis.

Researchers, program leads, and decision-makers at universities, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and private institutions tell us the same thing: they need a partner, not a vendor.

Save this if your next project involves data you're not sure how to handle.

Then send it to whoever approves the research budget.

A freelance statistician runs your model. A large firm assigns a junior analyst.

Neither one questions your measurement instrument.

That's where the study breaks down, before the data is even collected.

A deep methodological review helps you describe the real impact of your intervention by choosing the right measurement instrument and the appropriate methodology design.

What does your current process to assess your intervention's success look like? Reply below.

Before working with us, a university researcher had 5 years of program data. No framework to use them to answer meaningful research questions.

After they had a rigorous evaluation of the data, the right statistical model for their design, and a final report that held up to external scrutiny.

The data was always there. What was missing was the methodology to give it meaning.

That's what we build at SMARTICON, not just analysis, but the analytical architecture that makes your data defensible, publishable, and actionable.

We work on projects across statistical consulting, research evaluation, protocol development, and training.

If you have a project in mind, visit https://icon.smartholding.ca/Contact to explore our services and submit an inquiry. We are offering free 30-minute consultations this spring!

Most research/evaluation projects don't fail because of bad data. They fail because of the wrong question asked of the right data.

Wrong model. Wrong assumption. Wrong interpretation. The numbers look clean. The conclusion is wrong.

And by the time a reviewer catches it, or worse, a policymaker or a manager acts on it, the damage is done.

Statistical consulting isn't about running software. It's about knowing which method fits your study design, your population, and your constraints. That's a methodological decision. It requires expertise that goes beyond a tutorial and beyond a generic deliverable.

At SMARTICON, that's exactly what we do. We work with researchers, universities, private enterprises, not-for-profit institutions, and government organizations who need rigorous answers, not just outputs.

Send this to a colleague who's deep in data right now. They might need to hear it.
