Fondation Alliance Verte , projet Pour la protection des animaux Fondation Alliance Verte is a Haitian foundation whose vision is to contribute to build a society that respects its environment and all forms of life.

Marylin,one of its founder has been helping the street dogs and cats for many years. Through this project its mission is to build a shelter, to rescue dogs and cats and get them adopted. Care for the strays and help owners who cannot afford to care for their pets. Conduct spay and neuter campaigns, raise awareness regarding animal abuse and educate people on how to love, respect and treat their pets and all animals.

Second Update: Meet Luco ❤️

We named him Luco, and every day that passes, we see a positive change. It has now been 6 days since we rescued him, and what a difference those six days have made. His eye is doing much better with the special eye drops, three times a day. He also had a much-needed visit from the dog groomer, and he is already so much more comfortable and so much happier.You can tell that Luco once had a home. He is young. Maybe he got lost. It happens often when there are a lot of gun shots. Maybe he was abandoned. We will probably never know.But there is one thing that breaks our hearts. Sometimes, when he lowers his head, it makes us wonder if he spent much of his young life chained.Whatever his past was, that chapter is over now. Luco is safe now. He is being cared for, loved, and given the chance to simply be a happy dog. We will do everything we can to make sure he never feels forgotten again. Any donation toward his care will be greatly appreciated.

Update : dog hit by car. Her urinary catheter was removed, but unfortunately, we discovered that fluid had accumulated in part of her abdomen. The vet did an ultrasound and performed a puncture to remove the fluid and placed a drain so it can continue to drain and she can be closely monitored. She is still hospitalized and fighting. There is still a long road ahead, but we are doing everything we can to give her the chance she deserves. 🙏❤️

Update ❤️
He was covered with ticks. First thing we did was give him a much-needed bath, then we took him straight to the vet.We now know he is a boy. Sadly, one of his eyes is in bad shape. The vet prescribed special eye drops three times a day for 8 days, and we are hoping and praying that we can save his eye. He has already been through so much. Now that he is safe, we will do everything we can to give him the care he needs. Please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers. Any donation toward his care will be greatly appreciated.

Early this morning, a neighbor came knocking on our door. They had found a dog in their yard. They tried to get him to leave, but he wouldn’t go. He seemed lost, confused, and simply didn’t know where else to go.They put a rope around his head and came to ask us for help.When we saw him, our hearts sank. He is in terrible shape, weak, and clearly in need of immediate care. We don’t know his story yet. He may be lost. He may have been abandoned. With so many people leaving the country and leaving their homes—and sometimes their animals—behind, sadly, we see cases like this far too often.But today, he found his way to us.We will do everything we can to help him, get him examined, and give him the care he desperately needs.We will keep you updated on this new rescue.

💔 She was hit by a car… and now she needs us.

A kind Good Samaritan who had seen this dog around her neighborhood found her after she was hit by a car. She couldn’t bear to leave her lying in the streets, under the scorching heat, but she didn’t know what to do. So she called us.We told her to bring the dog to our veterinarian. X-rays revealed multiple fractures, and in some places, the bones were crushed. Sadly, there is no surgery that can be done to repair the damage.The vet’s recommendation was strict rest in a small space for at least six weeks, so she would not move too much and could hopefully heal. Since the lady (the good samaritan) had nowhere safe to keep her, we asked her to bring the dog to us.But after only two days, we noticed something was seriously wrong. She was unable to urinate.We rushed her back to the veterinarian, where she had to be hospitalized. She is now under our care, and we are responsible for all of her treatment and veterinary expenses, first visit and xray included. We don’t know what the outcome will be. We can only hope, pray, and do everything we can for her. 🙏💔Please keep her in your prayers. And if you can help with a donation toward her care, it would mean so much. Every contribution helps !

Yesterday was International Cat Day! We are reposting a video we made showing the many reasons to adopt a cat and Let’s celebrate those beautiful, funny, independent, and sometimes very misunderstood creatures who make our lives better just by being in them. For us, every cat has a story. Some were abandoned, some were left behind when their families had to flee, and others were simply born into a life where no one cared for them.Happy International Cat Day to all the wonderful cats who have touched our hearts—and to those still waiting for their chance. 🐱❤️ Thank you for helping us give them that chance. 🙏🐾

Today, we are helping a young woman get her dog the veterinary care he urgently needs.Sadly, many people simply cannot afford veterinary care for their animals. They want to help, but they don’t have the financial means and often don’t know where to turn.We sent one of our employees on his motorcycle to pick up the dog and bring him safely to the veterinary clinic so he could receive the care he needs.This is exactly what your donations make possible. Because of your generosity, we can respond when an animal is suffering, provide emergency veterinary care, and give hope to families who have nowhere else to turn.

Last Friday,we had the pleasure of welcoming someone very special to our shelter Ulysse, founder of CHF Foundation. Kareen, her dad and their amazing staff are doing incredible work in Cite Soleil bringing hope to the community through healthcare and education. Thank you for taking the time to meet our animals, listen to their stories, and see firsthand the work that goes into giving them a second chance. Your visit meant so much to us.
In times when rescue work can feel overwhelming, visits like yours remind us that there are people who truly care. Your kindness, encouragement, and support gave us a much-needed boost.
