Health Education Project Bring world-class health education to Haiti with Health Education Project. We go to their village to Health Education Project started in Haiti.

We were working NGOs that helped many people who were injured in an earthquake. The tragedy did not stop there as six months later, we were hit with cholera. This was when we started going to infected areas and discovered that the reason it was spreading so fast was due to lack of education. People didn't know what they had and how to avoid spreading . Hence, we promoted health awareness. We decid

ed to go beyond working in the hospitals, and go to the villages to help people in furthering their businesses. It was also our mission to teach them how to prevent themselves from getting sick. During the first week, we met and checked over 500 patients. The next week, one of us stayed in the clinic while the other went out to the village to explain why people shouldn't drink certain water. We also taught them how to keep it clean. We realized how important it is to help in promoting basic health information. We started to do it with hypertension as many Haitians suffered from it. Most organizations help people who are already sick. What separates us from other groups is that we help prevent people from getting sick.
