From Cap Haitien to Austin, the mission continues. 🇭🇹❤️🇺🇸

Christian, YKM Founder & Executive Director, recently had the opportunity to preach at Higher Transformation Church, a Haitian diaspora church in Austin, TX and a valued YKM partner. He also had the opportunity to share with the congregation about the work God is doing through YKM in Haiti.

We’re grateful for Haitian communities around the world who continue to stay connected to home and invest in the people and communities of Haiti. What a blessing to worship together and celebrate all God is doing! 🙏🌎

For Venise Louis and her family, education means hope. ❤️📚 As a mother of five, Venise once struggled to earn enough to feed her children, let alone afford their education. Then, all five children were welcomed into a YKM school free of charge.

At the YKM school, they receive a Christ-centered education, daily meals, and the supplies they need to learn and thrive. They're now able to dream beyond today, big dreams of becoming teachers, nurses, engineers, and community leaders.

The tears Venise once shed in despair are now tears of gratitude and hope for the future.

We believe that access to education is one of the greatest tools for uplifting and advancing local communities. In Haiti, where school fees often keep children out of the classroom and adult literacy remains low, we’re working to make learning accessible for all—children, teens, and adults alike. 📚✏

Each student is a reminder of why this matters. Because when one person has the opportunity to learn, the impact can reach families, communities, and nations. 🇭🇹

Our soccer program is about so much more than developing young athletes. Every practice, every game, and every conversation is an opportunity to point young people to Jesus.

This is a perfect example: Coach Wilgens praying with and for his players after a practice. As coaches like Wilgens walk alongside these players week after week, they're modeling Christ's love, encouraging faith, and helping them grow into leaders in their families, churches, and communities.

Lasting transformation doesn't happen through a game alone. It happens through faithful presence, intentional relationships, and the hope of the Gospel.
