Our Nutrition Program continues to serve 30+ children each month. While parents receive immediate nutritional support to help address their child’s malnutrition, they also have access to healthcare, therapy, health education, mental health support, and economic and educational services.

We believe in coming alongside parents holistically, because supporting a child means supporting the whole family❤️

We’re deep into planning our Promise 5K on October 10, and we could use a few more helping hands! From registration and race-day logistics to cutting pies (yes, that’s a very important job 😉), there’s a place for you on our volunteer team.

🌎 What if your students could build friendships across borders?

Through our School Partnership Program, we work closely with partner schools to create a meaningful, deeply relational experience. Through cultural exchanges, shared curriculum, and student-led videos, students gain a unique perspective on life in Haiti and discover the impact of inclusive education.

The partnership goes beyond learning—students also have the opportunity to lead fundraisers that support the ICEP school and their new friends in Haiti. 🇭🇹❤️

We already have schools across North America committed to partnering with us for the upcoming school year, but it’s not too late for your school to join!

Our staff and community members recently participated in a three-day first aid training focused on recognizing emergencies, providing basic care, and responding safely while waiting for professional medical help.

Through hands-on practice, demonstrations, and discussion, they gained practical skills they can use in real-life situations. We’re grateful to those who generously volunteer their time to teach such an important skill, and for opportunities like this to strengthen and care for our community. ❤️

🏗️ School Build Update! 🏫

Things are really coming together! Roofing and windows are almost finished, sidewalks are going in, primer and painting have begun, and the school kitchen is taking shape.

We’re officially about one month away from opening the doors and welcoming our students, and we can hardly wait! 🎉

At Children of the Promise, we welcome children with disabilities into a place where they are known, valued, and reminded that they were created with purpose.

Today, nearly 100 children receive therapy through our programs—from one-on-one sessions and school support to home visits and developmental screenings. And the need continues to grow. More than 40 children are currently waiting to begin therapy.

We believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. ❤️

Big news! 🎉 Children of the Promise is partnering with UNICEF and P4H Global on an 18-month initiative to strengthen inclusive education across Haiti! COTP has become a trusted leader in inclusive education and support for children with disabilities in northern Haiti—and now, that experience is helping influence systems far beyond our own programs.

Together, we'll train 600 teachers, equip 25 nurses, strengthen 75 schools, and help develop Haiti's first validated system for identifying children with functional disabilities.

This is about more than a new screening tool. It's about changing how children with disabilities are seen, supported, and included in their communities.

We're so grateful for your partnership as we work toward a future where every child has the opportunity to be seen, supported, and thrive. 💙
