ELSA Croatia is one of the 44 national groups of ELSA - The European Law Students' Association, world's largest law students' association u Beču. i 1991.

ELSA (Europska udruga studenata prava) najveća je svjetska neprofitna i nepolitička udruga studenata prava i mladih pravnika osnovana 1981. Svoje podružnice ima u 44 europske zemlje te okuplja više od 50.000 članova s preko 300 fakulteta. ELSA djeluje na tri razne: lokalnoj, nacionalnoj i međunarodnoj te na svakoj od njih postoji upravni odbor od sedam ili osam članova. Sjedište ELSA-e Internation

al se nalazi u Bruxelles-u, a uživa i konzultantski status unutar Gospodarsko - socijalnog vijeća Ujedinjenih Naroda te Vijeća Europe. Vizija, cilj i načini ostvarivanja osnivača ELSA-e iznesena je davne 1992. u Bruxellesu na godišnjoj skupštini ELSA-e International. ELSA teži pravednom svijetu u kojem se poštuju ljudsko dostojanstvo i kulturna raznolikost, u svrhu doprinosa pravnom obrazovanju, razvoju međusobnog razumijevanja i promicanja društvene odgovornosti studenata prava i mladih pravnika. ELSA omogućava studentima prava i mladim pravnicima upoznavanje drugih kultura i pravnih sustava u duhu kritičkog dijaloga i znanstvene suradnje. Prva podružnica ELSA-e osnovana je 1986. na Pravnom fakultetu u Zagrebu, a u Splitu, Rijeci i Osijeku tijekom 1989., 1990. Netom nakon osamostaljenja Republike Hrvatske početkom 1992. osnovana je i krovna organizacija ELSA Hrvatska. Bivši članovi ELSA-e danas su istaknuti pojedinci u javnom životu, članovi gospodarske zajednice i uspješni odvjetnici. Među njima je i predsjednik Vlade RH Andrej Plenković koji 1991. postaje predsjednik ELSA-e Zagreb, 1992. predsjednik ELSA-e Hrvatske, a 1993. predsjednik Međunarodnog odbora ELSA-e sa sjedištem u Bruxellesu. Bivši članovi ELSA-e su i viceguverner HNB-a Bojan Fras, potpredsjednik Atlantic grupe za Korporativne aktivnosti Neven Vranković, sudac pri Sudu Europske unije prof.dr.sc. Siniša Rodin i pučka pravobraniteljica Lora Vidović. Nacionalni odbor:

15 Croats attended 89th International Council Meeting that took place in Brno, Czech Republic, in the period from 19th April till 26th April 2026.

It was a dynamic week of workshops, vibrant nightlife and reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones!

We are very much proud of our Elena Dević being elected for the position of Treasurer of the International Board of ELSA for the term 2026/2027!💙

Huge thank you to the OC of ICM Brno for such a warm hospitality, we had incredible 7 days in Brno!🇨🇿

[ROLE Training Weekend, Zagreb ‘26.]

Throwback na ROLE Training Weekend konferenciju koja se održala u Zagrebu, 11. travnja - 12. travnja 2026.

Prvi dan obuhvatio je predavanja:

- zamjenice pučke pravobraniteljice Sedine Dubravčić,
- Matea Štimca, dopredsjednika za akademske aktivnosti ELSA-e Hrvatska i koordinatora za ROLE Coaching ELSA International Team,
- Nike Anzulovića Miroševića, Team Europe Direct (Europska komisija)

Drugi dan, participanti su u parovima držali predavanja svog dijela kurikuluma.

Hvala svima koji su sudjelovali na konferenciji i družili se s nama u Zagrebu!💙

ELSA is pleased to announce the celebrations marking the 45th Anniversary of ELSA.

Join us in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday, 2 May 2026, for a special evening. The programme begins with a reception at the ULB USquare campus, located opposite the ELSA House, from 19:30 to 22:00, followed by an afterparty at the ELSA House.
