Day 6 – U15 European Championship 2026

Game 6: Croatia vs. Austria 9:7

We finished the U15 European Championship with an exciting 9:7 victory over Austria, securing 11th place in the final standings.
The game started well defensively, but things became more difficult in the second and third innings as Austria took advantage of our base on balls and built a seven-run lead. Offensively, we struggled early against the same pitcher we had faced the two days before and couldn't find the same rhythm at the plate.
However, the team never stopped believing.
Trailing by seven runs in the third inning, we put together an incredible comeback, scoring nine runs to completely turn the game around. From that moment on, our defense held strong and we secured a well-deserved victory to end the tournament on a high note.

One of the highlights of the game came from Dora Švec, who celebrated an exciting inside-the-park home run, adding another special moment to Croatia's tournament.

Although the championship did not finish with the overall result we had hoped for, the team showed tremendous character throughout the week. We grew with every game, improved both offensively and defensively, and finished the tournament with three consecutive victories.

Thank you to all the players, coaches, families and supporters who stood behind us throughout the championship. We leave with valuable experience, great memories, and motivation to keep working and growing together.

Day 5 – U15 European Championship 2026

Game 5: Croatia vs. Belgium 16:1

We continued our strong form with an impressive 16:1 victory over Belgium, delivering another outstanding all-around team performance.

Our offense stayed red-hot from the very beginning. We exploded for 11 runs in the first inning, immediately taking control of the game, and continued to add runs in the second inning to secure a run-rule victory after three innings.

The team once again showed excellent quality at the plate, continuing the offensive momentum built over the last few games. Defensively, we played another solid game, while our pitching staff delivered exactly the performance the team needed, keeping Belgium's offense under control throughout the game.

With another convincing win, we carry great confidence into the final day of the championship.

Day 4 – U15 European Championship 2026

Game 4: Croatia vs. Austria 19:15

Croatia secured its second consecutive victory with a strong team performance against Austria.

The game started perfectly for our team as we scored five runs in the opening inning, while Austria managed just one. Austria responded well and took the lead over the next few innings, staying in front until the fourth inning.

From that point on, our offense came alive once again. The bats were working exceptionally well, and a big fifth inning allowed Croatia to regain control and build a comfortable lead that Austria could not overcome.

Offensively, we collected an impressive 13 hits, continuing the excellent hitting form shown in recent games.

This game also provided valuable opportunities for players who had seen fewer innings earlier in the championship. They stepped up, contributed on both offense and defense, and helped the team earn another well-deserved victory.

Day 3 – U15 European Championship 2026
Game 3: Croatia vs. France 8:0

Croatia recorded its first victory of the tournament with a convincing 8:0 win over France, thanks to an excellent all-around team performance.

Our offense got off to a strong start, scoring 3 runs in the first inning, 3 more in the second, and 2 in the third to take control of the game early. The team collected 5 hits, but beyond the numbers, we consistently made solid contact and put pressure on the French defense.

A special moment came from Patricija Malešić, who hit the first home run of her career—an exciting inside-the-park home run. Vida Burgund also contributed with an impressive triple, helping to keep the offense rolling.

In the circle, Petra Hrs was outstanding, throwing a no-hitter and giving France no chance to find their rhythm offensively. Combined with solid defense behind her and a productive offense, Croatia earned a well-deserved first win of the championship.

The victory is a great confidence boost as the team continues its fight in the placement round.

Day 2 – U15 European Championship 2026

Game 2: Croatia vs. Poland 8:9

A heartbreaking loss for Croatia in our second game of the tournament.

We played well offensively throughout the game, scoring runs consistently and collecting 8 hits, even more than Poland. Both teams struggled defensively at times, but we managed to build what looked like a comfortable lead.

Unfortunately, softball can change in just one inning.

The fifth inning proved to be decisive. A combination of consecutive hits and walks allowed Poland to score eight runs, turning the game around and taking a 9:8 lead. Despite fighting until the final out, we were unable to respond offensively and complete the comeback.

It is a bitter defeat, especially after yesterday's performance against Spain, where we proved that we can compete with one of Europe's strongest teams. We believed we had earned our place in the middle group, which was our goal coming into this championship.

But softball is a game where nothing is decided until the final out. This time, the momentum and a little bit of luck were on Poland's side.

As a result, we will now compete in the placement round for 11th–14th place. While this is not where we expected to be, the tournament is far from over. We will continue to fight, improve with every game, and give our best until the very end.

Day 1 – U15 European Championship 2026

Game 1: Croatia vs. Spain 3:6

We opened the tournament with a very competitive game against Spain. Unfortunately, we got off to a difficult start, as a couple of early defensive errors allowed Spain to score and build an advantage one run at a time.

Despite that, our team showed great character and never stopped fighting. Gabrijela Tatar delivered an outstanding performance in the circle, recording 7 strikeouts and keeping us in the game. Our offense created opportunities throughout the game, but we were missing just a few more timely hits.

Heading into the 6th inning, the score was tied 3:3, giving us a great chance to take control. Unfortunately, a combination of Spain's hits and a few defensive mistakes resulted in three runs, putting us behind 6:3. We were unable to answer in the bottom of the inning, and the game finished with a 6:3 victory for Spain.

Although the result wasn't what we hoped for, the team showed determination, resilience, and many positive moments to build on for the rest of the tournament.

🗓 Today we face Poland at 10:00. We're ready to bounce back and fight for our first win! 💪🇭🇷🥎

Srebro zlatnog sjaja!!!

Hrvatska muška U16 softball reprezentacija je osvojila srebrnu medalju na Europskom prvenstvu u Češkoj!!!
Nakon odličnog tjedna utakmica i napete utakmice sa Danskom za plasman i ulazak u finale, danas su dečki u finalu krenuli jako na Češku. U odličnoj utakmici držali su ih na +1 do kraja treće izmjene, te su na kraju do kraja 5 izmjene Česi uspjeli ostvariti još 6 bodova te je utakmica završila 7:0 za Češku. I taj rezultat je sam po sebi odličan rezultat, te dečki a i svi mi skupa sa njima slavimo veliko srebro, povijesni rezultat nakon puno godina!
Velike čestitke dečkima, izborniku, trenerima i stručnom stožeru na odličnom rezultatu!!

Men's European Softball Champinship U-16

Rekli bi neki bez pritiska, a mi kažemo još k tome dalje! Nakon 3 odlična dana Hrvatska muška U-16 reprezentacija je odličnom igrom došla u poziciju da se sprema za igranje finala na europskom prvenstvu u u Češkoj!! Iako je ostalo još dvije utakmice odigrati sutra u grupnoj fazi, plasman je drugo mjesto u grupi što nas vodi direktno u finale i borbu za zlato! Presudna je bila remizirana utakmica protiv Danske, protiv koje već imamo pobjedu, te smo time osigurali plasman! Dečki su odlični, na terenu je super atmosfera unatoč teškim vremenskim uvjetima za igru i sigurni smo da će i dalje dati sve od sebe! Već i sa ovime su ostvarili sve naše snove, Bravo dečki!!
