Our first meeting after the summer break, and we immediately got into action! 🎬 September 9, 2026.

We recorded a video for the End Polio Now campaign. We had a lot of fun, while remaining fully aware of the serious purpose behind this important initiative.

We also shared stories from the summer, reviewed the activities already completed, and discussed our plans for the months ahead. Our new president has a clear vision, and we are looking forward to an exciting new Rotary year! 💙

On December 11, 2025, at the Greek Catholic Co-Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Methodius (Grkokatolička konkatedrala sv. Ćirila i Metoda), we organized a special event in support of our project. We wanted to create something new, different, and inspiring to celebrate the festive season, an evening filled with , empathy, and warmth. And we succeeded!

Thanks to the funds raised that evening, we were able to purchase nine tablets and one headset for the Paviljon za djecu "Sv. Marko Križevčanin" in Križevci.

On Friday, September 4, 2026, our president, Damir Delisimunovic, together with our past president Vesna Trnokop Tanta and other members of our club, visited Križevci and donated the equipment to the children.

It is wonderful to see how an idea that brought people together in December turned into something tangible and meaningful for the children several months later. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the event and helped us turn generosity into action. 💙

🌊 Rotary connections wherever we go!

Our club member Filip Krapić recently spent some time in Opatija, where he met up with our Rotarian friends from Rotary Club Opatija Lungomare while they were taking care of the coast and beaches. 💙

Different clubs, different cities, but the same Rotary spirit, friendship, connection, and service above self. 🤝

One of the greatest strengths of our club is its international character. Literally! We are proud that our club truly reflects the Rotary spirit, embracing , , tolerance, and friendship.

At the same time, this is also one of the bittersweet aspects of being an international club. Many of our members come to Zagreb or Croatia for a chapter of their lives. They become active members, contribute their ideas, organize events, lead initiatives, and become an important part of our community. Then, one day, it is time for them to move on.

Yesterday was one of those emotional moments as Torsten Sollitzer and Sonja Ungewitter hosted their farewell gathering before returning to Germany. Fortunately, this is not a goodbye, just a "see you again." They have left a lasting on our club, and we are confident that our friendship and Rotary collaboration will continue across borders.

Dear Torsten and Sonja, thank you for everything you have done for our club. We wish you every success and happiness in this new chapter of your lives. Stay in touch, we look forward to seeing you again! 💙

Yesterday, our outgoing President, Vesna Trnokop Tanta, officially handed over the presidential chain to our new President, Damir Delisimunovic.

Before this symbolic and emotional handover, Vesna reflected on her year of leadership, highlighting the many meetings, guest lectures, excursions, events, and other activities organized throughout her presidency. Among the year's highlights, she especially recognized the Christmas concert as a memorable success.

Looking ahead, Vesna encouraged us to continue making our events engaging while preserving the atmosphere and that define our club.

Damir expressed his commitment to building on Vesna's excellent work while introducing and fresh ideas for the future.

Thank you, Vesna, for your dedication and leadership over the past year. Wishing you, Damir, every success in the year ahead. Let's keep the momentum going and make it another fantastic year! 💙

💙 United for Good

Rotary Club Zagreb International was proud to be part of the gathering of more than 120 Rotarians from 25 clubs from Zagreb and the surrounding area, celebrating the end of another successful Rotary year.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow Rotarians, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the values that unite us through service. Together, we reflected on a year of impactful humanitarian projects, collaboration, and community engagement.

A sincere thank you to Rotary Club Zagreb for initiating this event and to Rotary Club Zagreb Sljeme for their support in reviving this valuable tradition. We look forward to many more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and continue making a positive impact together.
