Thana centar je osnovan sa svrhom poticanja i razvijanja međusektorskog, multidimenzionalnog i integriranog pristupa upravljanju kompleksnim sustavima okoliša i baštine (prirodne i kulturne: materijalne i nematerijalne) primjenom odrednica održivog razvoja kako bi se učinkovito zaštitili i očuvali okoliš i baština te generirala nova radna mjesta za dobrobit lokalne zajednice. Thana Center was esta

blished with the purpose of encouraging and developing cross-sectoral, multidimensional and integrated approach to the management of complex systems of the environment and heritage (natural and cultural: tangible and intangible) through sustainable development in order to effectively protect and preserve the environment and heritage, and generate new jobs for the benefit of local communities.
