🌍 Another successful Erasmus+ BIP at FOI! 😎👏

From 28 June to 4 July 2026, FOI hosted the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme "Reshape to Sustain: Sustainable Future Enabled by Next-Level Digital Transformation", bringing together 28 students and 13 academic staff members from seven European universities. 🇭🇷 🇧🇪🇷🇸 🇪🇸 🇸🇮 🇷🇴 🇬🇷

👩‍🏫 The programme was coordinated by our Vice-dean, Assoc. Prof. Martina Tomičić Furjan, together with the FOI teaching team: Assoc. Prof. Iva Gregurec, Full Prof. Katarina Tomičić-Pupek, and Assoc. Prof. Igor Pihir, in collaboration with teachers from our partner universities and the support of the FOI Centre for International Relations.

🤝 Together with our partners from Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium), University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (Serbia), University of Alcalá (Spain), University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (Slovenia), George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Târgu Mureș (Romania) and the University of the Aegean (Greece), participants explored how digital transformation and sustainability can shape the future of organisations. 🔝

💡 Through lectures, workshops, mentoring and international teamwork, students developed innovative solutions to real business challenges, visited Terme Sveti Martin as the programme's case study, and built prototypes at Makerspace Varaždin.

Of course, it wasn't all about learning - as no BIP ever is 😊. Alongside the academic programme, participants enjoyed a variety of social events, made new international friendships, and created memories that we hope will last long after the programme ended. 🌍✨ 🫠

Prijavi se na međunarodni Erasmus+ kombinirani intenzivni program (BIP) „FORESIGHT –
Creating Sustainable Future Alternatives“, koji organizira TTK University of Applied
Sciences.

📅 26. – 30. listopada 2026.

💻 ONLINE dio održat će se u jednom ili više termina prije fizičkog dijela programa.

👥 Sudjelovati može 5 studenata/studentica FOI-ja (te do 2 nastavnika/ce)

🎓 3 ECTS boda

💶 Erasmus+ financijska potpora: 79 EUR/dan + 309 EUR za putne troškove

🌱 Program obuhvaća teme poput:
▫ održivog razvoja i SDG ciljeva
▫ analize trendova i signala promjene
▫ oblikovanja održivih rješenja i scenarija budućnosti
▫ međunarodnog timskog rada i suradnje

SuMoS Workshop "Green Thinking & Digital Action"

Otvorene su prijave za radionicu „Green Thinking & Digital Action”, koja će se održati od 22. do 24. rujna 2026. u Kranju (Slovenija) na Fakultetu organizacijskih znanosti.

Radionica je dio Erasmus+ projekta SuMoS – Strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable student mobility 🌱 i okuplja studente iz više zemalja (Francuska, Hrvatska, Slovačka, Srbija i Slovenija). Radit ćete u međunarodnim timovima na razvoju digitalnih rješenja koja podižu svijest o održivosti i zaštiti okoliša 🌍

Tijekom tri dana očekuju vas radionice, timski rad i puno kreativnog rada 💡 – od ideja do prototipa, uključujući i chatbot rješenja 🤖

🌍 [𝗙𝗢𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲] successfully brought together the international academic community once again!

Over four dynamic days, FOI hosted around 30 international academic and non-academic staff members, as well as 30 international students from partner institutions across the world. 🌎🤝

The programme featured multiple parallel activities for students, professors, researchers, and international staff, including:

🎤 keynote lectures by renowned international experts
🗣️ panel discussion on advancing international engagement across universities
🏫 presentations of partner universities
💻 the first International WebSec Initiative 2026 student competition, organized by ._club
🤖 workshop on AI tools in teaching and learning for high-school teachers, organized by the FOI AI-HED project team
🏢 visit to .varazdin and .varazdin
🔬 presentation of FOI research labs to international guests and students
🌍 presentation about FOI, networking and meeting activities
🍕 pub & pizza night
🎶 cultural and social events

🌍✨ FOI goes International!

This summer semester, proudly welcomes 30 international students from 4 countries and 5 universities - marking a record number of incoming students! 🎉

Students joining us come from:

🇩🇪 , Germany
🇸🇰 .sk , Slovakia
🇿🇦 , South Africa

During this Welcome Week, they had the chance to explore the faculty, meet their professors and fellow students, and discover our charming city of Varaždin 🏰.

From campus tour 🏫 to fun social events like pub & pizza night 🍕🍻, treasure hunt 🗺️, and pancake party 🥞, the semester kicked off with exciting new experiences - and, most importantly, new friendships 🤝✨.

A big thank you to our FOI Student Buddies 💙 for giving our international students such a warm welcome and for their great help in organizing these first unforgettable days!
