Our mission is to help with mental health in our community by providing support services to people with mental health issues especially between crisis treatment and hospitals and their return to a normal life and community. We have always operated with meagre to no funding on the energy and voluntary support of others. This began with emotional peer support groups, allowing those stigmatised by their health to come together and have a voice. We went further (games nights, public actions, art exhibitions, recreational activities, occupational therapy workshops (gardening, carpentry, arts and crafts), lectures, free psychotherapy and peer support counselling, dance therapy, mobile peer support teams etc. Still dreaming big ;) ...
We have still managed to have been organising numerous activities for our members free of charge as a "homeless" association, without our space. But we want a consistent space for those that need it in the city of Split. A space for our activities and groups, including a little living room, a library, a room for seminars and lectures, training, support groups, consultations, a small workshop etc. Please make our community better by lending a needed hand to the most vulnerable among us and giving to our cause.
