While applying we carefully chose a theme about what RURAL really is and which processes are currently happening in rural communities. Croatia is predom
inantly rural with 63% of it`s territory while 43% of population lives here. Croatian rural areas are faced with depopulation, traffic isolation, uneven development, lower quality of life, inefficient use of energy, insufficient use of informatic technologies, lack of services and many others. Issues like these ones are present in the whole Europe and having that on mind we can together better understand and realize rural potentials not only in Croatia, but in the whole Europe. Join us from 18th-23rd of September 2018 on beautiful coast of Croatia in Hostel Karlovac located in Selce. It is placed on the narrowest crossing of Dinarides and Adriatic Sea what makes an excellent touch of Coastal and Continental Croatia, as same as Mediterranean and Central Europe. This position is therefore excellent for our excursions, meaning mountainous areas are as accessible as the sea ones :D
