🏸 TALENTS WITH RACKETS – online partners’ meeting held!

On 23 June 2026, partners of the Erasmus+ Sport project TALENTS WITH RACKETS – Increasing inclusion and diversity through sport: the new EU paradigm held an online international partners’ meeting dedicated to the preparation and implementation of the upcoming national methodological webinars.

The meeting brought together project partners from Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia to discuss how the inclusive badminton methodology will be transferred into practice through structured webinars, partner exchange and interactive learning.

During the meeting, partners discussed:

✅ the role of national webinars within the project
✅ the use of the “Badminton for All” Inclusivity Manual for Coaches
✅ the Knowledge Café method as an interactive approach for discussion and feedback
✅ practical guidance for working with people with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities
✅ accessibility and inclusion measures for online activities
✅ documentation, evidence collection and reporting requirements
✅ national implementation planning and next steps

The meeting was an important step in preparing partners for the next project activities and ensuring that inclusive badminton approaches are understood, discussed and ready to be applied in practice.

🏃‍♀️🌿 GFuture sports event!

As part of the Erasmus+ Sport project GFuture – Green Tools for a Bright Future, a sports event was held on 18 May 2026, bringing together 32 participants – 27 pupils and 5 teachers, PE teachers and volunteers.

Through sports activities, play and cooperation, pupils had the opportunity to learn in an active, healthy and inclusive way. This is one of the main goals of the GFuture project: to connect sport, green learning and outdoor education, while encouraging children to develop healthy habits. 💚

The project places special emphasis on inclusion, active participation of children and the creation of a positive school environment where sport becomes an important part of learning and personal development.

🌿 BeNATURE project has officially started!

On 12 May 2026, project partners met in Maribor, Slovenia, for the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ Sport Project Benature – Development through Nature Play for Children with ADHD.

Partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Greece and Türkiye discussed the project objectives, planned activities and next steps.

BeNATURE will focus on developing nature-based movement, play and balance activities to support children with ADHD and promote inclusive, health-enhancing physical activity.

🌱 We are looking forward to the next steps of this European cooperation!

🌱 GREENPLAY has officially started!

On 13 May 2026, project partners met in Maribor, Slovenia, for the first GREENPLAY Kick-off Meeting.

During the meeting, partners presented their organisations, discussed project tasks, deliverables, research activities, the Green Sport Guide of Best Practices, management, dissemination and the next steps of implementation.

GREENPLAY promotes inclusive, accessible and environmentally sustainable sport activities for children with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities.

We are excited to begin this journey and work together towards greener and more inclusive sport environments. 💚

Cilj projekta je potaknuti veću razinu tjelesne aktivnosti među djecom, s posebnim naglaskom na uključivanje djece s intelektualnim teškoćama u sportske i školske aktivnosti.

Vaši odgovori pomoći će nam bolje razumjeti koje aktivnosti djeca vole, s kojim se preprekama susreću te kako sport i tjelesnu aktivnost učiniti dostupnijima i uključivijima za svu djecu.

🎯 1st Transnational Project Meeting of PlayBall held in Maribor!

On 20 April, the partners of the Erasmus+ Sport project PlayBall – European Heritage through Traditional Ball Games gathered in Maribor, Slovenia, for the 1st Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by the project coordinator Zavod Trend-Prima, Maribor.

The meeting marked an important first step in the implementation of the project, bringing together partners from Slovenia, Italy, Spain and Croatia to discuss the project timeline, partner responsibilities, upcoming activities, research phase, development of project materials and the next steps in creating the PlayBall methodology.

🏀 About the project

PlayBall aims to increase the physical activity and social inclusion of children aged 6 to 13, with a special focus on children with intellectual disabilities, by using traditional European ball games as a tool for sport participation, cultural heritage preservation and intercultural learning.

Through the project, partners will develop:
✅ a Handbook of Traditional European Ball Games
✅ a Guide of Best Cultural Practices
✅ a curriculum for teachers, trainers and volunteers
✅ an e-learning platform with freely available project materials
✅ local PlayBall sport events in all partner countries

The project brings together organisations from Slovenia, Italy, Spain and Croatia and promotes inclusive, accessible and sustainable sport activities for children, schools, NGOs, sport clubs and local communities.

We are excited to start this journey and work together on bringing traditional European ball games closer to children across Europe! 🌍🤝
