So, what did we do in the Erasmus+ project MUS-LaMiRe? 🎶
After the album Slavuj, the question of "what’s next?" arose naturally. Beyond performing concerts, it felt important to take another step: working with young people and passing on a part of everything we ourselves had learned and discovered.
In the MUS-LaMiRe project, Melita Ivković and Dina Bušić, alongside partners from Italy NED New European Dreams , Centro Culturale Gianluigi Pascale Valdesi di Calabria and France Lira Transalpina participated as educators for young musicians gathered in the POEME ensemble—the Little European Orchestra of Endangered Languages and Dialects.
Through collaborative work, rehearsals, and shared moments, young people from Croatia, Italy, and France got to know Arbanas and Occitan songs—learning how to sing, understand, and interpret them in their own way.
It was particularly important to us to bring Arbanas songs closer to them—songs that were often preserved only within families, in fragments and memories. It was beautiful to see how the youth embraced them, playing and singing them with such ease and genuine interest.
The concert in Arbanasi was the logical conclusion of this process—a small but significant step in ensuring these songs continue to be passed down.

A što smo radile u Erasmus plus projektu MUS-LaMiRe? 🎶
Nakon albuma Slavuj, nekako se prirodno otvorilo pitanje – što dalje? Osim koncerata, činilo se važnim napraviti još jedan korak: raditi s mladima i prenijeti im dio onoga što smo i same učile i otkrivale.
U projektu MUS-LaMiRe Melita Ivković i Dina Busic uz partnere iz Italije i Francuske, sudjelovale su kao edukatorice mladih glazbenika okupljenih u ansamblu POEME – Malom europskom orkestru ugroženih govora i jezika.
Kroz zajednički rad, probe i druženja, mladi iz Hrvatske, Italije i Francuske upoznavali su arbanaške i okcitanske pjesme – učili ih pjevati, razumjeti i interpretirati na svoj način.
Posebno nam je bilo važno približiti arbanaške pjesme – one koje su se često čuvale samo u obiteljima, u fragmentima i sjećanjima. Lijepo je bilo vidjeti kako ih mladi prihvaćaju, sviraju i pjevaju s lakoćom i interesom.
Koncert u Arbanasima bio je logičan završetak tog procesa – jedan mali, ali važan korak u tome da se te pjesme nastave prenositi dalje.
