An association for the welfare of free-living cats and other animals in the town of Hvar. Maška Hvar je građanska inicijativa koja je okupila grupu aktivista za dobrobit i sigurnost nezbrinutih mačaka. U konačnici želimo osigurati da populacija mačaka bude pod kontrolom, da su sigurne i nahranjene. Također b
lisko surađujemo s gradom Hvarom kako bismo osigurali da ljudi budu svjesni koja su sredstva dostupna, te da se iskoriste na najbolji način. Svrha ove stranice je stvoriti mjesto gdje ljudi mogu vidjeti koje su inicijative poduzete za:
• sterilizaciju mačaka
• opskrbu hrane
• edukaciju sugrađana (i turista) što najbolje učiniti kako mačke ne bi postale teret ljudima koji ovdje žive
• obeshrabrivljanje svakog čina okrutnosti prema mačkama koja još ponegdje postoji
• prikupljanje donacija za pomoć ljudima koji hrane i hvataju mačke za sterilizaciju
• mogućnost udomljavanja

Welcome to the page dedicated to all free-living cats from the area of the city of Hvar and the surrounding areas. Maška Hvar is a civil initiative that brought together a group of activists for the well-being and safety of neglected cats. Ultimately, we want to ensure that the cat population is under control, that they are safe and fed. We are also working closely with the town of Hvar to ensure that people are aware of the funds available, and that they are used in the best way. The purpose of this site is to create a single place where people can see what initiatives have been taken to:
• spaying a cat
• food supply
• educating fellow citizens (and tourists) on what to do best so that cats do not become a burden to the people who live here
• discouraging any act of cruelty towards cats that still exists in some places
• collecting donations to help people who feed and catch cats for spaying
• possibility of adoption
