Hello Kings & Queens,
And just like that… another unforgettable Game of Tangueros has come to an end.
For a few magical days, Dubrovnik once again became a home for music, embraces, laughter, late-night conversations, and endless tandas. Around 140 tangueras and tangueros from different corners of the world came together to create something truly special, and we would like to thank each and every one of you for being part of it.
We hope you enjoyed wandering through the timeless streets of Dubrovnik, lying on the beach basking in the warm sun (and even swimming in the not-so-warm sea!), watching golden sunsets (the weather gods – old and new – were smiling on us throughout the marathon 😊), and sharing beautiful moments both on and off the dance floor, with the Adriatic Sea just outside our windows.
A huge thank you goes to people who helped make all of this happen – our wonderful DJs: Sasa Vukelic, Alessandro Grillo, Όλγα Κατσάρα, Burhan Yildirim and Melisa Durak. Thank you for every tanda, every cortina, every emotional journey, and every moment of joy you created for us throughout the marathon.
Special thanks to our amazing photographer, Maja Đukanović - TangoStation, who was always there quietly capturing dances, hugs, smiles – memories we will keep for a very long time. We are already excited to see the albums! 🙂
We would also like to thank Tinta Roja Tango Shoes from Trieste for bringing elegance and beauty to the marathon with their lovely tango shoes.
But what makes this event truly special is not the venue or the city, but the energy that all of you bring to it. Thank you once again for sharing this dancing experience with us.
Events come and go, but the memories we create together stay alive for years.
Until we meet again in Dubrovnik… keep dancing, keep embracing, and keep the tango spirit alive wherever you are.
