Matching glitter with your dog? We’re making it happen at the 5K. ✨

Fazit Beauty , the brand behind the glitter freckles worn by Taylor Swift, is sponsoring The Fast and the Furriest 5K ! We’ll be applying glitter freckles and patches to participants, plus matching pet patches made specifically for pups. Fazit describes its pet patches as temporary, pet-safe, and non-toxic. It’s all optional, but think of the photos!

Join us October 18 at Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta for our ’90s-themed 5K, vendor market, and retro costume contest, all to help dogs and cats find loving homes.

Break out the windbreakers. The Fast and the Furriest 5K is having a costume contest!

Join Angels Among Us Pet Rescue on Sunday, October 18 at Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta for a ’90s-themed morning of running, walking, and helping save animals. Bring your dog, your friends, and your best retro look!

Channel your favorite ’90s TV character, dig out some neon gear, or give your dog a throwback makeover. We’ll have prizes for Best Human Costume and Best Dog Costume! Costumes are optional, so regular running gear is welcome, too.

We have twin girls, and aren't they the cutest!

How in the world did two perfect little angel puppies end up in one of the most overpopulated shelters in metro Atlanta? It's baffling! They should be in loving forever homes but until then, they are in one of our amazing foster homes, giving them the best start to a wonderful life.

Finn Frost and Frankie Frost could use a little help from our amazing community!. They are just babies and need EVERYTHING to ensure they stay healthy before adoption. They were just spayed and that alone costs a few hundered dollars each. Every donation, big or small, helps us give these precious pups the love, care, and support they deserve.

At our first community vaccine clinic, your support helped 205 pets receive free care and provided 45 spay/neuter vouchers to families in need. On October 24, we’re teaming up again with Planned PEThood of Georgia, this time with plans to serve 400 cats and dogs in Gwinnett County. But we still need to raise $4,300 to fulfill Angels’ $9,000 commitment.

For families struggling financially, the cost of routine pet care can be hard to manage, even when their pets mean everything to them. This clinic will provide free vaccines, microchips, and flea and tick prevention, helping families keep their pets healthy and in the homes where they’re loved.

Will you help us close the gap? A gift of $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can give will bring us closer to covering our share of care for 400 pets. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed. This is not AI. This is Bugaboo! He has the kind of face you want to show everyone because you can't believe he's real. Do you agree?

This fella came to us by chance. Some of our amazing volunteers visited one of the local shelters. This shelter in particular is always beyond capacity.

We were so lucky we had fosters ready to step in to help because our volunteers left with more than just Bugaboo that day. It's fosters that allow us to say "yes, we will take him", on the spot. We know our dedicated fosters will always step up when needed most.

Bugaboo will need to be neutered but unfortunately, he has little skip in his step and we're not sure what's causing it. He will need xrays to determine the cause.

Please consider donating to our little Bugaboo, and share him and be sure to tell everyone, he is not AI. 😜

When Angel volunteers were at the county shelter this week, there were a few little dogs we just couldn’t leave behind. We pulled them even though we didn’t have foster homes lined up.

Barnaby Button is one of those lucky pups.

He has a few minor medical issues we can get sorted out. Then he’ll be ready for happily ever after.

This is the fostering effect. 💙 The dog staring at the wall in the shelter and the dog you see playing and enjoying life are the SAME dog. A temporary home gave her a safe place to land, decompress and finally show everyone who she really is.

We desperately need more fosters right now. Angels Among Us is a foster-based rescue, which means every animal we save needs somewhere to go. When we don’t have that space, we have to say no to animals we could otherwise save.

If you’ve thought about fostering but worried about the expense, we cover all approved veterinary care and can provide supplies if you need them. You provide a safe, loving place while they wait for their forever family. And when your foster is adopted, you’ve made room for us to save another.
