🏥 Bringing health and hope! ✨
On May 30th, we experienced an incredible day of service in the community of Montes de Bendición, Tegucigalpa. ❤️ Alongside a team of volunteers from Woodward Church of Christ, Oklahoma Christian Academy, and our dedicated staff from the James Moody Adams Assistance Complex, we successfully treated 130 people with free, high-quality healthcare services. 🩺👥

In addition, two sophomore students from our institution 📚 shared the Word of God and a message of faith with the patients following their check-ups. 🙏 Infinite thanks to every volunteer, doctor, and collaborator who donated their time and effort to make this possible. Together, we are the hands and feet of Jesus on earth! 🌟

Meet our professor, Erick Rodríguez! 👨‍🏫✨
Originally from Mexico 🇲🇽, he currently serves as a preaching minister at the Iglesia de Cristo in Praderas, Coahuila ⛪. Erick graduated in 2021 🎓 and is currently continuing his education, pursuing a Master of Divinity at Harding School of Theology 📚.
We thank God for his life, his excellent teaching, and his faithful ministry in Mexico 🙌. It is a great blessing to have him with us! 🌟

✨ What is the Women’s Program? ✨

It is a training space designed exclusively for the wives of our students, led with excellence by our sister Elsy Ortiz 🌸. Our purpose is to equip them holistically for the beautiful challenge of accompanying their husbands in ministry 🙏.

To achieve this, we work on four fundamental pillars: the ministerial, spiritual, marital, and parental areas, strengthening every key facet of their lives.

We want every woman to be ready to “fight the good fight”: steadfast in her faith, shining from her own unique place, and walking shoulder to shoulder with her husband as a true helpmeet🛡️. This is a program that transforms lives and prepares hearts to serve with a clear purpose 📖.

🤱Celebrating Mom🌹

Our mothers gathered to celebrate their special day. It was a time filled with live music, fun activities, games, delicious food, and, above all, shared laughter that filled the room with joy.

We express our sincere gratitude for their role, unconditional dedication, and the love with which they support their families. You are a fundamental pillar in our Baxter community. May God bless each and every one of your sacrifices! 🙏✨

Closely monitoring their growth is securing their future! 📈👦👧

This May 19th, we experienced an intense day during the second evaluation of the children in nutritional program. 🩺Our medical, dental, and nutritional team were in charge of reviewing each little one’s progress.
To provide even more comprehensive care, we conducted blood counts and parasitology exams.

From early on, families accompanied us throughout the clinic circuit, we recharged our energy by sharing a lunch and handing out groceries for their homes.

Our Medical and Dental Clinic staff, in an alliance with the Oklahoma Christian University-School of Nursing, completed a week of service supporting our most vulnerable communities. 🩺 They carried out activities focused on prevention and comprehensive medical care, achieving the following results:
📍 Iglesia de Cristo de Suyapa: 80 people received care during the medical mission.
👓 Baxter Clinic: 57 patients benefited from a cardiometabolic health day and the distribution of reading glasses.
👧👦 Jorge J. Larach School: 45 children received medical, nutritional, and dental evaluations.
📍 Iglesia de Cristo de La Ulloa: 87 people were treated with warmth and professionalism.
In total, more than 260 people were served. Our Clinic is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with partner organizations, allowing us to continue building health, prevention, and hope within our community. 🙌💙

HONORING THE ELDERLY 👵👴
In celebration of Mother’s Day in Honduras 🇭🇳, students and faculty from the Baxter Institute visited the San Felipe Hospital Nursing Home to spend a day of fellowship with the residents. 🤝
It was an enriching time, filled with laughter 😄, games 🎲, and moments of praise and worship. 🎶🙌 We express our most sincere gratitude to the facility’s authorities for allowing us to bring joy and companionship to the elderly. ❤️✨

Our campus keeps growing! 🏗️ Lately, we’ve been working hard on renovating the dorms for our single students to ensure their comfort and well-being. 👷‍♂️
Simultaneously, a new bell tower is rising next to the arbor as a symbol of our academic advancement and institutional growth. 🏫
We are deeply grateful to God, our donors, and everyone supporting us through prayer. Thank you for being part of this journey! 🙌

🏥 Medical Mission in San Pedro Sula 🇭🇳
The Barandillas Church in San Pedro Sula hosted a medical mission in coordination with our medical and dental team. 🩺✨ They were able to serve 70 patients in general medicine and pediatrics 👶, and 48 patients in dental services. 🦷
The team consisted of 9 health professionals and 2 students from the Baxter Institute 🎓, who shared the Word of God with the patients, and we joyfully celebrate the baptism of two people! 🙏📖 We thank the Barandillas Church of Christ for opening your doors and allowing us to serve. 🤝🙌
