Our preschoolers have been growing BEANS! 🫘 🌱☀️
They have been learning about the sun and to see how it helps plants grow they planted their own bean plants! It's been fun to watch their little plants grow bigger and bigger every day!

As we are getting close to the end of the school year in Honduras, most seniors are in their practicum that will cap off their studies. Currently three of our seniors are completing their practicum at different places in the city! Johnny and Alejandra are both placed in banks and Maryel is doing her placement in a hotel. Please keep these students (and our other seniors) in your prayers as they finish out their learning and prepare to graduate soon!

Last week we celebrated Children's Day! 🎉🪅
We had so much fun celebrating with games, crafts, a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, yummy snacks, and of course, piñatas! Enjoy just a small peak into the excitement and joy from the day 🥳🎈🖌️

Today is Teacher's Day in Honduras! 🍎💙
Feliz Día to all of our amazing teachers who serve daily to carry out our mission! We are so grateful for all they do for our students, teaching them, loving them, and most importantly pointing them to the Lord. Christ's love is demonstrated through them every day as they love and serve our students and community!

Over the last couple weeks our teachers and students have had the chance to celebrate and thank Elizabeth Lopez for her work here with Nueva Esperanza!
For the past 9 1/2 years Liz has served as the Child Sponsorship Coordinator, a crucial role at the ministry by connecting sponsors with their sponsor kids. We are so thankful for all the ways she has served over the years, not just through sponsorship duties, but also in the classrooms, helping with discipline, tutoring, lesson plans and more. Liz will be greatly missed at Nueva Esperanza, but we know the Lord is leading her into great things with her family.
Thank you, Liz, for your many years of service with Nueva Esperanza! 🤍💙
