In HIM, the nations will find their hope - Our goal is to show the love of Jesus and through this, people near and far will see their only hope is in HIM!

Hope Through Him Ministries is committed to taking the HOPE we find in Jesus to the poor, hungry and hurting both near and far. Our international focus is in the country of Honduras. There we have set up a feeding programs feeding over 5000 meals a month . We are working in the villages to develop micro business to assist them in becoming self sufficient. Christian teaching and education are a par

t of our mission there. We believe with these principals and programs we can keep the children of Honduras with their families and out of orphanages.

Our Kidz Ministry is growing and changing lives every Sunday. We are so blessed to have Alejandra leading our children’s ministry and we believe that these children are being impacted for eternity. They learn about Jesus, build life long friendships, and have so much fun every Sunday morning.

Francis does such a great job of finding new projects and looking for things that will interest each child. Their hands get busy, and their hearts open up. It might look like a string of kids' art to you, but for us it's a window into their worlds.

Our team had the incredible honor of attending a training on Trust-Based Relational Intervention a few weeks ago. This training helps equip leaders, teachers, and caregivers who work with children affected by trauma. We were so thankful to Haley for coming to train our team and several psychologists who go to our church or work for other nonprofits around town. We left feeling challenged, seen, and empowered to continue doing the important work of molding hearts and minds.

Introducing: The Courtyard

We have big dreams for the conversations and friendships that this space will hold. We honestly took a big step of faith in finishing out this area with turf, brick pathways, fresh paint, and lighting before our Easter service. We had a huge after-party with dinner, games, and tables set up everywhere. People stayed and hung out for hours. But we honestly saw the fruit of this space before Easter. 2 days after the turf went down, 2 of our small groups used this space for their gatherings. There's something about fresh air and string lights that just makes people feel at home.

First Easter at Iglesia Esperanza

We were blown away by what God did this weekend at Iglesia Esperanza. We had so many new people join us on what is culturally one of the least attended Sundays of the year (yes we know, very different). We loved seeing so many people come to the service, but maybe even sweeter was how many people stayed to eat dinner and hangout in the courtyard and around the soccer field. This community is something we have been dreaming of for a long time and God is making it happen.

So many times our life feels like Friday-
Pain, Rejection, Fear, Humiliation, Confusion, Injustice

But there is nothing that God cannot resurrect and bring back to life.

Today we remember. We sit in the pain and the hurt and we remember that we have a King that identifies with all of our pain. And we look forward, because Sunday’s coming!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our fearless leader!! The one that fights for us and the people we serve every single day. The one who makes us better, calls us higher, and believe in each of us more than we believe in ourselves. A suit of armor filled with marshmallows. The dreamer, the visionary.
