Celebrating more milestone moments!
Gisselle graduated from 9th grade, the end of her primary education. She now goes onto her finals years of high
school!
Nahomy is now a high school graduate! She worked incredibly hard to received her diploma and is now preparing for the next steps of her future. She passed the graduation cap to Gisselle who will be our next high school graduate!
We are so proud of both these girls for their dedication to their education! This year we’ve seen each of them grow in perseverance and resilience as they’ve tackled challenges. We are so grateful for all our community does to help these girls get the education and opportunities they deserve to build successful futures!

Level 1 ages 11+
✨Estrella✨ 1st in bars; 2nd in vault and floor;
2nd place Best overall; 3rd in bars.
✨Kirby✨ 1st place in Floor; 2nd in Beam; 3rd best overall.
Level 2 ages 11+
✨Lizbee✨ 1st in Vault; 2nd in beam; 3rd best all around
✨Gisselle✨ 1st best all around; 1st in beam and floor; 3rd in vault.

Wish us luck!!! Our family traveled to the capitol city to support and cheer on our gymnasts in their first competition! Today, we were up early getting ready. Estrella and Kirby compete this morning, followed by Gisselle and Lizbee later this afternoon. Send them all your prayers and encouragement as they fight through first-time jitters. They’ve trained hard for this and we are so excited for the opportunity they’ve been given, through scholarships and support. 🙏 Stay tuned for updates!!!

A huge CONGRATS to Paola & Sarai, our two newest college graduates!! 💉Paola now holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Lee University. 💼 Sarai graduates with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Toccoa Falls College.
Each of them has worked extremely hard to accomplish this goal. It took a tremendous amount of sacrifice, focus, and determination to get here, but they powered through the sleepless nights, shed a few tears, built new communities and friendships, while spending countless hours studying. Thank you so much to those who supported and encouraged them throughout these years. Paola and Sarai are so grateful for your part in making this happen. Now, they continue onto pursue their next dream! Sarai will begin her masters program at Liberty University in August. Paola is preparing to take the NCLEX as a final step in her nursing license before she begins her career in Chattanooga. Join us as we lift up our college graduate in prayer and joyful praise for all they’ve accomplished and the pursuit of their next steps!

We went to the movies to support a locally made kids film about a Honduran legend, Copan la Leyenda. We had so much fun seeing a movie about our home country, with places and slang that are so familiar to us. It was especially exciting when we could point out a landmark we see nearly everyday! One of our favorite things to do at the movies is do our best impression of each poster. So even though we didn’t see the movie, we couldn’t help doing our best Michael-pose! 🕺

God has answered (and exceeded) our prayers for the right opportunity for Yolani! She has been offered a FULL scholarship to the University Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile!!!! Today was orientation day, where she was introduced to her fellow classmates. In 3 years, she will earn a diploma in labor skills, with a concentration in one of six areas of her choosing. We are extremely excited for the doors that have opened to her in attending this program, and the generosity of the directors to extend this scholarship to her. Yolani is living in a boarding house with a host mom, in walking distance to her campus. We praise God for her safe travels and this exciting new journey, (although we miss her already!) Please keep her in your prayers as she adapts to living far from home, forms her routine, and builds a community.

Congrats on the win this weekend! Our Volleyball girls are improving so much from all their hard work, and it really showed in this weekend’s game. Estrella scored the game point! Go Lions!!!

A little Christmas in January! 🎄
Lizbee, Estrella, Gisselle, and Nahomy performed in their school’s Christmas talent show this weekend. They sang carols in the Christmas choir, danced, and performed a skit of Jesus’s life showing the reason for the season. It was a sweet and fun show to enjoy their talents with some Christmas spirit.

Feliz Año Nuevo! Happy 2026 to our EFP family and community! 🎉
We are so grateful for the beautiful gift of time together as we celebrate another year of life change. Sarai, Michelle, and Aracely spent their school break with us in Honduras. Soaking up every moment with them, and with other visitors, took us back to the days of an overflowing van and a tightly packed dinner table. Now, as the holiday season comes to an end, our home feels unusually still. With teary eyes, we send off our college students, proud of all they accomplished in 2025 and all they are working toward in 2026. We step into 2026 with full hearts, expectant for all God will continue to do in and through these young lives.
