From building a home together as a team, helping construct a water basin (“pila”), and serving the community in many different ways, every moment became a blessing and a reminder of the power of unity and compassion.

Today, Pastor Angel Cartagena from Chesapeake Church in Maryland shared how blessed their team feels to come to La Paz and serve the community alongside Honduras Compassion Partners. From preparing and cooking meals to serving families during today’s Feeding Program, every moment was filled with joy, purpose, and God’s love.
It was also a beautiful time connecting with the children, sharing smiles, conversations, and unforgettable memories with the families from La Municipal. A day full of blessings for everyone involved. 🙏✨

Together with Professor Horton and the students from the Ferris State University Construction Technology and Management, we had the opportunity to serve, have fun, build relationships, and give back to the communities in Honduras.

Moments like these remind us how powerful it is when people come together with love and compassion to make a real difference. Today, Dixie and his family have a brand-new home, and that is a blessing we will never forget. 🇭🇳
