61 Isaiah Our vision is to glorify God by sharing the gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Missionaries to Honduras

Just finished making a small batch of my Coffee Sugar Scrub 🤎✨

If you’re looking to add exfoliation to your skin care routine, then this scrub is for you!! The heavenly smell of coffee comes from…well, you guessed it, coffee!! I used coffee that was grown in Gracias, Lempira, Honduras. More specifically, I used the coffee that came from a ministry that is close to my heart - 61 Isaiah Ministries.

You can check out their website to see how they are helping local farmers get their amazingly good coffee to your favorite mug, along with the other areas of ministry they have. ☕️

To say things are in full swing around the school would be an understatement! 😅
Here are some praises and prayer requests:
Praises-
•Gracias won 2nd place in an all-campus-wide, week-long competition! We're proud of our students and all the work they put in!
•God has sustained us thus far!

Prayer requests-
•Perseverance and strength to finish the school year well.
•ACSI final verification is coming up soon! Pray that we can pass and become an accredited school! 🥳

Thank you for walking with us 🫶🏻

“My connection to 61 Isaiah began when a family from my church made the decision to move to Honduras and become full-time missionaries. The following summer I joined a six-day mission trip with 61 Isaiah to Gracias, Honduras. I wish to continue my support of that mission — with you — through this fundraiser.”

Thanks Oliver for choosing 61 Isaiah to help out while running the Boston Marathon this month.
You can check out more of Oliver’s write up, by clicking the link! When you arrive to the site, if you click on “explore the course link”, each landmark mile has a verse from Isaiah 61 and you can donate to miles and chose to pray over those miles!

March has been a busy month for the farm!

While Southside was here, they helped us towards completing an ongoing project of ours. We were able to dig out pathways for piping that will aerate the tilapia ponds and pump water out to the coffee plants. The aeration helps with fish growth and decreases algae in the ponds AND the water from these ponds will be a great source of fertilizer for coffee plants! 🌱🐟

Speaking of coffee, if you are in the Brownwood area, you can find newly stocked shelves of our coffee at Shaw’s market place + some super cute mugs ☕️

Not only did the mission team help out with the ponds, but they shared their testimonies over the local radio on the property of how God has worked in their life, helped us sort out coffee beans to be roasted, and gathered eggs for sale. 🥚🐣

Thank you Southside for helping us out with the day to day (&big projects) at the farm ❤️

“God’s in the little things… Sometimes I forget that. The small blessing that reminds us of His goodness. The ones that really matter. Let me share just a few from this past week.”

You can read about he small moments in which Kristi was blessed by the Lord in her newest blog post. You can click the link to read her blog and others as well. Happy reading!

This month we had our first mission team of the year, and we had a blast with Southside Church in Brownwood!!

Southside Church has partnered with the church in Las Brisas for almost 10 years now. Isabel Antonio, alongside with his wife Julia faithfully serve the church as pastor. Patricio serves with them as co-pastor, and the church has multiple leaders who help make sure that the church is loving their community well. Las Brisas is the farthest community that we are in, but it is 100% worth the trek up the mountain!

Throughout the week, we visited multiple houses. Some of the people that we went to visit were members of the church, while others were new acquaintances. It was a blessing to see both of the churches come together and be united in faith.

Thank you Southside Church for walking alongside us and helping us share the love & hope of Jesus Christ! ❤️

I have always appreciated how well Honduran culture celebrates birthdays + special occasions. The 16th anniversary of Río de Dios was no different. The church was packed two weeks ago with believers, members, friends, and visitors to acknowledge such an accomplishment. An accomplishment that was only achieved through the grace and faithfulness of God in and through this ministry. We sang together. We opened God’s word together, and we ate together. It was a wonderful night!!

Congratulations Río de Dios for for 16 years!! May the Lord bless you with 16 more (and 16 more after that!) 🎉🎂⛪️

January has been quite full and so many exciting things have happened that we could share about. For all of our coffee lovers, the coffee harvest is almost complete, and we are looking forward to how our coffee will turn out ☕️ On the education side, school is back in session and teachers + students are gearing up for the upcoming SAG competition 📚

Something equally as exciting that we wanted to take a moment to highlight is the 35th anniversary of the church in Los Ciles, Centro Cristiano Esperanza Viva. Pastor Laudelino and Denia have faithfully served and lead this church for 35 years as well!! Multiple churches from the surrounding communities came out to help Centro Cristiano Esperanza Viva celebrate. There was worship, food, cake, and stories of God’s faithfulness shared throughout the night. We are so grateful that we get to do ministry with this couple and walk along side them as they minister to their community. All glory to God ❤️

A Merry Christmas to you! 🎄
Yesterday, the Vida Abundante School held its annual Christmas Show, with student dances and a play telling the story of Jesus. They performed well, and it was a night to remember! 🎉

This month, Vida Abundante School: Gracias held it's Fiesta Típica! It is a fundraising event where staff and students sell popular Honduran food in order to raise money for the scholarship program Horizontes Dilatados. 🎉
The students and staff also perform dances, wear traditional Honduran clothes, and celebrate Honduran culture! 🇭🇳

If you would like to support students going to Vida Abundante, you can help in two ways:
-Check out the Horizontes Dilatados Facebook or Instagram page to see the scholarship students featured.

-Go to 61 Isaiah's donation page and make sure to click "Education Scholarship."

We recently started a new study with the church in Santa Elena called Church Identity.

The heart behind this study is to empower the church to grow in their understanding of who God is and what it truly means to be His disciples.

What makes this study different is our approach — we don’t come in as missionaries to tell people what to believe. Instead, we walk with them through discussion-based lessons that encourage everyone to dig into Scripture and share what they discover for themselves. 📖📝

We’re so excited to see how God will use this time to deepen our faith and strengthen His church in Santa Elena!
