VIDA started right here 🌿 at Laurelbrook Academy—the place where two of our founders were shaped, inspired, and called by God to return to Honduras and build something for His glory 🙌🔥

But this isn’t just where the story began…

This is a place that has walked with us every step of the way 🤝

⛪️They sent mission trips to help build our campus
🚜 They donated our tractor for our agricultural development
🎓 They continue blessing our students with scholarships
💛 They keep showing up—again and again

Today, we got to spend time with some of those students… and seeing them grow, smile, and thrive—it just does something to your heart 🥹✨

God continues to write something beautiful, and we are so grateful to be part of it 🙏

✨ Full-circle moments like this… only God can orchestrate them.

This weekend at ASI Southern Union, we were surprised (and honestly overwhelmed with joy 🥹) when three of our scholarship students stopped by to visit us.

Seeing them here—thriving, growing, smiling—reminded us that the seeds planted in faith 🌱 do bear fruit.

These are students who were once just a prayer… and now they are walking testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

We pray for them often 🙏, asking the Lord to continue blessing their journey beyond what we could ever imagine.

And moments like this remind us—
✨ nothing done for God is ever wasted.

Semana Santa no es solo feriado… es el recordatorio del evento más trascendental de la historia ✝️

Cristo, nuestra Oveja Pascual 🐑, se entregó para redimir a la humanidad del pecado. Murió un viernes, descansó en el silencio del sábado —fiel incluso en la muerte— y resucitó victorioso el primer día de la semana 🌅

Y hoy, en medio del bullicio del feriado, fue hermoso ver que muchos decidieron hacer una pausa 🙏 y pasar por la iglesia para recibir el verdadero alimento espiritual 🍞✨

It’s not all work… 😉This Holy week, while a faithful remnant held the fort caring for lifestyle guests 🙌, the weekend gave us a little window to breathe.

We slipped away to Guaimaca 🌿 and welcomed the Sabbath from atop the Hill of the Cross in Talanga 🌄✝️

We thank God for gifting us moments like these. 💛✨

After 3 long Sundays of sweat, blood, tears, laughter, and some serious teamwork… the roof at the Las Pilas Seventh-day Adventist Church is DONE 🙌🏽🏗️🔥

What we thought was a project… turned into a full-on RESCUE mission 🚨😅
Thousands of terracotta tiles removed 🧱
Beams, trusses, and purlins—completely hollowed out by termites 🐜😳
Sawdust literally falling on members during worship 😬🙏🏽

Yeah… it was definitely time 😅

But look at it now 😍👇🏽
✨ Strong metal structure 💪🏽
✨ Brand-new roof 🏠
✨ Safe, secure place to worship again 🙌🏽⛪

From termite buffet 🐜🍽️ ➡️ to house of prayer 💥🙌🏽

HUGE THANK YOU to every missionary who gave their time, energy, and heart to make this happen ❤️‍🔥 This wasn’t just construction… this was ministry in action 🙏🏽✨

Today our school was clothed in black and blue 💙🖤 as a symbol of honor, gratitude, and recognition for fathers 🙏

Though fathers do not give birth, their God-given role is sacred and essential. They are called to provide, to guide, to protect, and to lead their homes in the fear of the Lord ✝️📖

A faithful father reflects the heart of God—steady, present, patient, and full of love 🤍
He builds not only a household, but a legacy of faith 🙌

In a world that often minimizes their role, today we choose to uplift and affirm it 💪
For it is through their influence that families are strengthened and lives are shaped 🌱

“…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” 🙏

Happy Father’s Day to the men who carry this calling with humility and devotion 💙✨

Este fin de semana lo estamos viviendo literalmente. Mientras uno de nuestros grupos trabaja arduamente en Las Pilas 🧱🔨🚧, otro grupo ha sido enviado para atender el llamado de nuestros hermanos de la Iglesia Adventista de Agalteca para apoyar su hermoso proyecto: la construcción de un aula de clases junto a su templo 📚🏫⛪.

Dos lugares.
Dos proyectos.
Un mismo espíritu. ❤️🔥

Manos trabajando 👷‍♂️🧱
Corazones sirviendo 💛🙏
Iglesias creciendo 🌱⛪

¡Definitivamente un distrito unido por amor a la Obra! 🙌🌎✨

GREETINGS FROM “LAS PILAS”:
Some people ask: Why do we spend effort and resources helping another church with their temple when we ourselves still need to build ours? 🤔⛪🏗️

We do it inspired by the testimony of the widow of Zarephath, who in the midst of famine chose to give the prophet the last thing she had. 🫓🙏✨

And as often happens with the beautiful logic of heaven—the one that reminds us that it is better to give than to receive and that the last will be first—we believe in the principle of sowing in faith. 🌱🌾💛
We trust that God will provide until there is more than enough for our efforts. 🙏📖✨

After all, the Suyatal Church is a missionary church. ⛪🌍🔥
Some of its missionaries do not preach with their mouths… they preach with their hands! 🙌🔨🧱💪😊

We said our farewells to the lovely Matteson missionaries today. Time really does fly when you’re busy serving. ❤️

There were tears, plenty of laughter, and a lot of memories packed into these past months. They were a tremendous blessing to everyone here, and their impact will linger long after their bags are packed.

Until we meet again… till we meet at Jesus’ feet. 🙏✨

Something big is happening on the “montañita”… ⛰️✨

Back in 2024, through what we can only describe as divine providence, we were able to purchase the beautiful hill next to our property. 🙏

Today we had a breakthrough. The clearing has begun, terraces are taking shape, and the groundwork for something new and exciting is officially underway. 🚜🌿

Care to guess what’s coming to the hill? 🤔👇

From a children-led Sabbath School that stole our hearts 👧🧒💖
to an inspiring, Spirit-filled sermon by Samuel Dehelt from Matteson Mission School 📖🔥—
every moment was a reminder that God showed up in a big way. 🙏🌿

Smiles 😄, Scripture 📘, songs 🎶, and so many blessings we lost count 💥💙
Grateful. Encouraged. Filled. 🙏🙌✨
