Some of the most meaningful lessons happen when students have the chance to see the world through someone else’s eyes.

Today, students from Adrián Mejía School in Honduras connected with students from Fuente Santa School in Spain, sharing traditions, stories, and moments of everyday life. What began as a video call became an opportunity to listen, learn, and discover how much we can gain from one another despite the miles between us.

These connections remind us that education is not only about what we learn, it’s also about understanding the people and cultures that shape our world.

📚 Las Minas School Project Update

Exciting progress is being made at our Las Minas school project! As shown in the latest photos, the roof support structure has now been fully installed, marking a major milestone in the construction process.

Roofing sheets have already begun to be installed on one section of the building, providing the first covered area and bringing the project one step closer to completion.

Every step forward is made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our construction team. We are grateful for the continued support that is helping create better educational opportunities for the children of Las Minas.

Last week, our President visited the Las Minas community to share exciting news with students, teachers, and families: construction work on the school project will restart soon! 🏫✨
Thanks to the commitment and generosity of our FEIH Board Members, the Foundation approved additional funding to help move this important project forward and bring the school closer to completion.

We also want to extend a special thank you to Ferretería Bendeck for supporting this mission by providing quality materials at an excellent price. Partnerships like these make meaningful change possible. 🙌

From temporary classrooms to the progress already standing today, this project represents hope, opportunity, and the power of a community coming together to invest in education.

Every visit is a chance to understand what’s working, and what isn’t yet. To make sure that what we create truly serves the people who use it every day.

Because a school isn’t finished when construction ends.

It’s finished when it works for the students and teachers inside it.

And that only happens when we stay involved.

Another, an engineer.
Another is still figuring it out, and that’s okay.
