The rainy season is fast approaching, and we’re working together to reinforce the mountainside above our school to help protect our classrooms.

Here in Honduras, one of the most practical and effective ways to prevent erosion is by filling and stacking tires with soil to create a retaining wall.

We’re so grateful for the students and parents who have rolled up their sleeves to help. 💜🙏🏻

Today we came down from the mountain for a field trip to the historic center of Comayagua. The kids explored museums, visited beautiful cathedrals, and enjoyed a stop at Chocolatería Atucun. They had a great time, learned a lot, and made wonderful memories. ☺️

Hoy bajamos de la montaña para una excursión al centro histórico de Comayagua. Los niños visitaron museos, recorrieron hermosas catedrales y disfrutaron de una parada en la Chocolatería Atucun. Se divirtieron mucho, aprendieron bastante y crearon recuerdos muy especiales. ☺️

Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day and also honored the fathers in our school community. ❤️ The children sang, danced, and shared so much love with their parents. Thank you to all the families who joined us for this special day!
