Yes, we perform surgery.
Yes, we run full OR days.
And yes… we absolutely celebrate when our patients are up, smiling, and ready to show us their moves.

Healing is more than stitches and sutures. It is laughter in the hallway. It is high fives after a brave moment. It is watching a child who was nervous yesterday dance today.

This is what medical mission work looks like behind the scenes. Skill. Service. And a whole lot of joy.

Come for the surgeries.
Stay for the dance battles. ❤️🇭🇳

Mission complete. 🇭🇳

108 surgeries in one week.

One hundred and eight families who will walk differently, breathe easier, work again, play again, live without constant pain.

This is what happens when surgeons, Anesthesiologist, CRNAs, nurses, techs, translators, local staff, and volunteers come together with one purpose. Long days. Early mornings. Packed ORs. Post-op rounds. Pre-op evaluations. Laughter in the courtyard between cases. Prayer before wheels roll back.

Every single person on this team showed up fully.

The photos say it all. The joy after a successful case. The hugs. The kids running down the hallway after surgery. The quiet conversations in the courtyard. These moments are the reason we keep coming back.

We are so proud to serve alongside this team. Grateful for the trust of every patient. Thankful for the supporters who pray, donate, and make this work possible.

108 surgeries.
Mission accomplished.
Lives changed forever.

If you feel called to be part of something bigger, join us. Volunteer. Give. Share.

Giving is living. ❤️

Day 4 in the OR.

Full board. Brave little patients. Focused surgeons. Steady anesthesia. PACU hugs that make every long hour worth it.

It feels like we just arrived, and now there is only one more day to serve. The week has flown by, but the impact will last far beyond these walls.

Tiny hands holding anesthesia masks. Parents whispering prayers. A team moving with purpose from sunrise to sunset.

Grateful for this crew. Grateful for the families who trust us. Grateful we get to show up and care in this way.

One more day to go. Let’s finish strong. 💙

Day 1 in the OR.

The board was full before the sun was fully up. Pediatric cases, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, TURPs, ENT surgeries and more. Each name on the board represents a person who has waited months, sometimes years, for this moment.

Our surgeons, anesthesia team, nurses, techs, translators, and support staff moved with focus and purpose all day. From pre-op evaluations in the hallway, to careful induction and monitoring in the OR, to recovery and reassurance in PACU, every step matters.

There is something powerful about watching a child rest safely after surgery. About seeing a parent’s shoulders finally relax. About teammates stepping in without hesitation to help one another.

Thank you to everyone praying for our team and the patients we serve. More updates to come as the week continues.

Some behind the scenes as our team unpacks and organizes hundreds of pounds of supplies, transforms empty rooms into fully functioning operating rooms, and prepares recovery spaces for the days ahead. It takes an army to make one surgery possible.

Surgeons met their patients in pre-op clinic, listening carefully through translators, evaluating each case, and making plans for the week ahead.

Last night we shared dinner as a team and celebrated Nancy’s birthday. She continues to show up year after year. What a gift she is to this mission.

This week we will be caring for many pediatric patients. There will be brave little faces, tiny hospital gowns, and families placing deep trust in our hands. We will share more about the specific surgeries as the week unfolds.

Please keep our patients and team in your prayers. If you have supported this mission in any way, know that you are part of every single case we perform.

Every donation helps us expand our impact and keep these life-changing missions moving forward.

Yesterday we had a last-minute change in our anesthesia coverage… and without hesitation, Lauren stepped in yesterday to help out.

Lauren is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), a full-time provider, a mom of two, and this is her third mission trip with us. When another anesthesia provider was unexpectedly unable to come, she rearranged her life, her schedule, and her family responsibilities to make sure these patients were still cared for.

That kind of commitment matters.

Mission work doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because people like Lauren say yes. Yes to the early mornings. Yes to the long days. Yes to serving patients who otherwise would not have access to surgery. Yes even when it would be easier to stay home.

CRNAs carry significant responsibility in the operating room. To step into that role on short notice in a mission setting requires confidence, experience, and heart.

Lauren, thank you for showing up. Thank you for your skill, your steadiness, and your willingness to serve. We are beyond grateful for you.

This is what dedication looks like.
