It’s been a huge project, but our sports court is officially, permanently covered! If it’s not raining in Honduras, chances are the sun is beating down. This protects from both so more ministry and fun can take place on campus!

We recently held a health seminar in the Learning Center teaching our students about the quantity of sugar in soda, a very popular drink in Honduras. We talked about the importance of healthy eating and taking care of our bodies. Knowledge is Power!

Did you know that our mobile library is still going strong? We work with 5 elementary schools benefiting 400+ students. We swap the books out every other month so the students are always having access to new books. Without these mobile libraries, these students would have no access to extra curricular reading. Reading grows the mind and the vocabulary. We LOVE how much the students are utilizing this program.

EA recently held its first team led Men’s Ministry event in a local community. We are so excited for this new ministry to take off. 6 more teams will host an event, each in a different community. Please pray that we will effectively reach men for the kingdom.

Our 8 week 8 team Spring Soccer Program recently wrapped up. It was a smashing success with more than 100 kids participating: hearing regular devotions, practicing their skills and HAVING FUN! We finished the season with an elimination tournament that included trophies, prizes and food. What a great season!

Did you know that in every community where EA projects take place there is a group of residents called a Community Transformation Committee (CTC) that we work with?
Last week we invited all of our CTCs to a morning of training and encouragement where we taught on the importance of long term vision for their community, empowerment and teamwork. On the way out we heard one member say to another that they love working with EA because they appreciate us. GOAL ACHIEVED!

Last week we took our traveling clinic 1.5 hours up to the mountain community of Tepanguare for a full medical and dental brigade. This is a new community that we have just begun ministry in by installing water filters. It was a full day of comprehensive care and we are excited to expand our scope of ministry.

It’s Filter Day!!!! We’re going 1 1/2 hours up to a brand new community. 12 families will have access to clean water after today!

Many of you know and love our translators, but did you know they go through a rigorous training? To ensure our translators are top notch, they get trained on the dos and don’ts of translating, how to share the gospel and the EA code of conduct. We love our translators and couldn’t host all our fabulous teams without them!!
