G&S: France and Belgium delegation 2026 🇫🇷🇧🇪

Between 19 June and 28 June 2026, a group of 24 delegates from ICE HKA G&S embarked on an insightful journey to Paris, France and Brussels, Belgium✈️. The delegation explored sustainable building practices, subsurface transit networks and cutting-edge material sciences in dense urban environments🌍.

Throughout the visit, delegates exchanged insights with local professionals and leading academics, fostering global collaboration and professional growth💡. The young engineers also investigated net-positive energy ecosystems and advanced underground infrastructure, gaining a deeper appreciation of Europe's engineering solutions for dense urban environments🌆.

This immersive experience not only broadened the delegates’ global perspectives but also inspired them to champion more inclusive and sustainable engineering solutions in their future endeavours🏗️.

🏗️ G&S: built on experience: 40 years of construction — stories, lessons and ventures 🏗️

ICE HKA G&S successfully hosted a seminar on 27 May 2026 featuring Mr Raymond Tang, Career Adviser of ICE HKA and a civil engineering professional with over 40 years of experience spanning government, the airport authority, and consultancy roles. 🔍⚙️

Mr Tang brought his career journey to life through stories, lessons, and ventures — from hands-on project work on major infrastructure such as the Central Kowloon Route and various public works facilities, to reflections on sustainable design, professional growth, and the entrepreneurial dimensions of an engineering career. 🛤️🌱

As a fellow member of multiple engineering institutions and holder of numerous professional qualifications, Mr Tang also shared practical guidance on career pathways, the value of broadening one's credentials, and how mentorship and continuous learning underpin long-term success in the profession. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏻🎓🏛️
