We are excited to announce that we have rebranded from Justice Centre Hong Kong to Asylum Services and Knowledge!

This new name better reflects who we are and what we do – providing legal and psychosocial support to refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong, enabling them to rebuild their lives with dignity.  We support refugee-led community development, so that the people we serve can shape the support they receive.  And we invest in Hong Kong itself – by training local lawyers and students, building professional capacity, and working constructively with government bodies and community partners to promote informed, efficient and compassionate systems of support. Each year, this work helps hundreds of people move from displacement, destitution and trauma towards stability, agency and protection.

Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement with our work, and we look forward to continuing our work under our new name.

We are excited to announce the return of our $40 Challenge! Taking place 29 May to 12 June, the $40 Challenge is a fundraising initiative designed to raise awareness and funds for the refugee community in Hong Kong by challenging participants to live on just HK$40 a day for food – all that most refugees in Hong Kong have for their daily meals. Through this campaign, we seek to highlight the resilience and challenges that refugees face daily, as well as to foster empathy, understanding, and action.

💪JOIN THE CHALLENGE:
1. Walk with us: For 7 days of your choice from 29 May until 12 June, live just one of the limitations that refugees face in Hong Kong by spending only $40 a day for your daily meals.

2: Fundraise: Donate the balance of what you usually spend on meals over seven days to help refugees and asylum seekers; or ask your friends to sponsor you.

3: Spread the word!

📣Join us TODAY! Visit www.ask.org.hk/40-challenge to learn more and register!
