1 year. 🧡
21st March.
Dreams 2 Come.
A room full of voices, courage, and community.

Our Voices of Tomorrow youth stole the show—and our hearts. So proud of this space we're building together in Chungking Mansions.

Here's to many more.

Lights, Camera, Action! 🎬 Our Chungking Mansions tour just hit RTHK .hk

We are bursting with pride to share that our Five Senses Chungking Mansions tour has been launched on RTHK's "Chill and Travel"!

This episode is extra special because it features two powerhouses:
🌟 Chandni Puri – Breaking barriers as the first female docent of Chungking Mansions.
🌟 Haleema sadia Siraj .sj – A shining talent from our "Voices Of Tomorrow" Cohort 1.

For too long, Chungking Mansions has been misunderstood. We are on a mission to change that narrative by turning "dangerous" into "diverse." When you walk through these spaces with curiosity, you don't find danger—you find culture, food, and humanity.

To everyone on that tour: thank you for your openness. You proved that education is the antidote to prejudice.

A Cultural Journey at Diversity Hub 🌏✨
Happy Lunar New Year! Hung Hei Fat Choi! 🧧🧨

Last night was pure magic! We were so honoured to host a special Cultural Celebration event curated by the amazing international service-learning students from S.H. Ho College, CUHK. 🇨🇳🇻🇳🇯🇵🇹🇭🇮🇩🇲🇲🇹🇼

With the spirit of renewal as our guide, we celebrated the Lunar New Year by exploring traditions from across Asia!

✨ What we got up to:
🖌️ Mastering Chinese Calligraphy (writing 福 for "Fortune"!)
🥟 Eating delicious Chinese dumplings
🎏 Learning the art of Japanese Origami
🐟 Crafting beautiful Thai Paper Fish
🍍 Arranging stunning Vietnamese Fruit Trays
🎨 Designing unique Indonesian Batik art

So much talent, so much culture, and so many new friends! 🫶 Thank you to everyone who came out to learn, create, and share.

We can’t wait for our next programme with CUHK! Stay tuned! 👀

It was a surreal moment watching Diversity Hub accept a Bronze Award in Community Interior Design at the 19th Annual IDA Awards Ceremony in Bangkok (represented by Jeffrey
)

Who knew that a space built on the simple idea of welcome—where all faiths, ethnicities, genders, and statuses are embraced—could resonate on an international stage?

This award isn't just about design; it's a testament to the power of inclusion. A huge thank you to our champions, Fred and Dr. Chris White from Sugar HK and Winkle-picker , for believing in our vision and helping us turn this dream into a reality.

This win belongs to everyone who walks through our doors.

🌟 Celebrating the rich and vibrant Sikh culture on November 5th for Guru Nanak Jayanti! ✨

We gathered as a community to delve into the history and significance of Sikh traditions, guided by the insightful community members. Their engaging discussions and openness to questions made for an enlightening experience!

🙌 It was heartwarming to see members of the Sikh community stepping up to share their knowledge and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding among all attendees.

At the end of the sharing, we had a grand reveal of the 3D model of the Sikh Temple in Hong Kong! 🏛️ This project, in collaboration with PowerThru , marks the importance of celebrating the history of Sikh people in Hong Kong and honoring their contributions. We are grateful to Shama for guiding us through the students’ experience in building the CKM 3D models of Chungking Mansions and Chungking Arcade, under the skilled guidance of our talented .lc John Joseph, who also meticulously prepared and built the 3D model of the Sikh Temple.

A big shout out to our CTFS volunteers for their incredible support, preparing goodie bags filled with resources, embodying the Sikh spirit of service and community care. 🍽️

We capped off the day with delicious food and tea, making it a truly memorable celebration of unity and culture!

✨ What a fantastic start to our Voices of Tomorrow program! 🎉 On October 30th, we welcomed our second cohort for an unforgettable orientation at Diversity Hub in Chungking Mansions.

🌈 Participants connected with our first cohort, sharing experiences and insights that truly fostered a sense of community. The night kicked off with icebreaker charades and lots of laughter 😂

To celebrate Diwali, we had the talented Dr. Nimisha Vandan lead a wonderful workshop on the art of rangoli, exploring its cultural significance. 🎨 The rangoli team building activity turned into a lively competition, with each group creating stunning artworks! Everyone was a winner tonight 🏆

👥 Throughout the night, they met their mentors and the supportive Diversity Hub team — Jeff, Vansh, Chandni, and Linda. Together, they ran through the program details and gained a deeper understanding of what to expect. The first cohort members also shared their experiences, helping to inspire and guide the newcomers.

We capped it off with a delightful Diwali feast, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes our new voices! 🌟
