薈青社於2008年正式註冊。 宗旨是為年青人舉辦各項活動及培訓, 從而發掘年青人的潛能及提升他們的素質, 並教育他們建立正確的人生觀及價值觀；同時培養年青人的公民意識及服務社會的精神, 積極參與社會、認識社會, 以至認識祖國。
