保良局獲社會福利署委託,推行首項全港性的「家庭暴力受害人支援計劃」,服務單位訂名為「翠林中心」,於2010年6月29日投入服務。
此「計劃」提供相關的司法程序和社會支援服務的資訊、情緒支援及陪伴服務,以加強對家庭暴力(包括虐待配偶 / 同居情侶及虐待兒童)受害人的保護,減輕她/他們面對司法過程的恐懼,並幫助她/他們重建正常的生活。
翠林中心為被 配偶 / 同居情侶虐待的受害人提供支援服務, 包括:
1. 司法支援服務: 講解法律文件及如何填寫及遞交相關表格等,在司法過程中安排兒童托管服務。約見義務律師了解刑事或民事的法律資訊。
2. 聯繫社區資源: 陪同受害人認識及接觸相關的社區資源,以解決生活轉變需要,例如:租住房屋、申領經濟及實物援助、就醫及覆診、申請學校、短期接送上學、托管子女等。
3. 家訪及生活指導: 關心受害人的生活適應,提供家居安全評估,生活指導及培訓。
4. 臨床
心理服務: 透過評估為受害人提供有效的心理治療。
5. 子女探視服務: 提供安全及舒適的環境,讓受家庭暴力問題影響的兒童能與父 / 母共聚,協助他們重建 / 維持良好的溝通及接觸,促進親子關係。
6. 活動: 提供互助小組,聯誼活動,治療及發展性小組、親子活動及技能訓練等,加強組員的社交網絡,協助受害人克服家暴事件對個人的影響,增加生活適應。

2. 自行申請(適用於訓練/小組活動及法律支援服務,包括陪伴出席法院聆訊、約見律師、申請法律援助及進行驗傷。
Commissioned by the Social Welfare Department, Po Leung K*k launched the "Support Programme for Victims of Family Violence (VSP)". This first-ever territory-wide service is provided by our "Tsui Lam Centre" which has started operation since 29 June 2010. The VSP provides relevant information on judicial proceedings and community support services, emotional support and accompany services which aim to strengthen protection to victims of family violence (including spouse / cohabitant battering and child abuse), alleviate their feeling of fear in going through the judicial process and help them resume normal life. Tsui Lam Centre provides support services to victims of spouse / cohabitant battering violence, including:
1. Judiciary Support Service: provide victims, including explanation of legal documents, filling in and submission of relevant forms etc. Bridge to community resources: accompany victims to locate and access relevant community services so as to provide assistance in facing life changes, including house rental, financial and in-kind support, clinic visits and scheduled medical consultation, application for school admission, short-term school escorts, and child day care services, etc.
3. Home visits and life skills training: help victims to adjust to life, provide home safety assessment and daily caring skills training and guidance.
4. Clinical psychology services: assessment and treatment are provided to victims.
5. Child Visitation Service: provide a safe and comfortable environment where children exposed to domestic violence can meet their father / mother; help them rebuild / maintain good communication and contact in order to enhance parent-child relationship.
6. Programme & Activity: provide mutual support groups, various gatherings, therapeutic and developmental groups, parent-child activities and skills training are offered regularly to strengthen group members' social network, help victims overcome the effect of family violence and adjust to life.
