For almost a decade, Entropy 熵 has carved its name into Hong Kong’s underground as a sanctuary for the raw, the relentless, and the ritualistic. This month, they summon three artists whose sonic alchemy thrives at the intersection of industrial grit, hypnotic techno, and the unyielding pulse of EBM—each a force of friction, propulsion, and catharsis.

Velvet May (Tears On Waves / Veyl Records) is a master of meticulous sound design and off-kilter rhythms, his sets are a collision of percussive techno, fractured breakbeats, and cinematic industrial, where euphoria and alienation coexist. Mars89 is known for his uncompromising electronic music and has become one of the most distinctive and exciting figures in Tokyo’s underground club scene. His work weaves together the seediness of early industrial music, the mutant strain of Bristol bass, and the unsettling, distorted aesthetics found in the films of Kubrick, Lynch, and Cronenberg. From floor-igniting tracks to ambient works that evoke collapse and transformation, his practice is defined by the ability to stitch together layers of contrasting energy into a single, coherent world.

Ushijima is an electronic music artist and live performer hailing from France(Paris & Brest). A core member of the Chiens Sans Colliers (CSC) collective,Ushijima has established himself not only through his productions — withreleases on CSC Records and Vives — but also as a daring force on stage,returning now after several years of absence to unveil a reinvented solo live act.

On January 10th, a new extension of Entropy event series unveiled at the decade-old institution - “Arrow of Time” series, which showcases music including but not limited to, industrial, EBM, 80s, goth, post-punk, new wave, experimental, ambient or noise. The first events will feature Entropy DJs , , and .moha.

As opposed to the strict standard of always creating the perfect transition or the perfect loop often required on the club dancefloor, we would like to extend our philosophy of real-world experimentation in revisiting and exploring new ways to enjoy rare obscure avant msuic or forgotten classics rarely heard from club nights in one of the best cocktail bars in town. Sometimes a dancefloor, sometimes a listening party.
