During the summer holidays, Manchester City's City in the Community coaches brought the beautiful game to 香港樂童行 (The HUB Hong Kong) as part of their Asia Tour, and the experience was truly memorable.
What happened on that pitch was about so much more than football. The children and young people we support spent the session building teamwork, coordination and confidence through relay races, technical drills and small-sided games. Manchester City legend Scott Carson also joined the activities, making the day even more special.
As Manchester City wrote in their coverage, "hundreds of participants experienced the power of football to bring people together, create positive connections and inspire healthier lifestyles."
That's exactly the mission we share at The HUB. Every child deserves the chance to play, to dream and to discover what they're capable of, both on the pitch and beyond.
