【祝賀司馬懿教授當選英國國家學術院國際院士】
Congratulations to Professor Chloë Starr on Her Election as International Fellow of the British Academy

本所謹向耶魯大學亞洲基督教與神學教授、本所駐美國研究員及長期合作夥伴司馬懿教授（Professor Chloë Starr）致以熱烈祝賀，恭賀她當選英國國家學術院國際院士（International Fellow of the British Academy）。

司馬懿教授長期深耕漢語基督教研究，於中國神學與文學的互動視野中開拓重要學術路徑，其治學嚴謹、貢獻卓著，此次獲選實為學界之喜。

司馬懿教授學術成果豐碩，並經常到中國內地及香港交流講學。其重要專著《中國神學：文本與語境》（Chinese Theology: Text and Context, 2016）深入探討中國神學文本與文學形式及歷史語境的緊密關係；其主編的三卷本《現代中國神學》（Modern Chinese Theologies, 2023–2024）論文集系統梳理並呈現現代中國神學的多元面向；而其編譯的《漢語神學讀本》（A Reader in Chinese Theology, 2022）則花上十年時間，將漢語神學經典文本譯介予英語世界讀者，為推動國際學術對話作出重要貢獻。

Congratulations to Professor Chloë Starr on Her Election as International Fellow of the British Academy

The Institute of Sino-Christian Studies (ISCS) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Chloë Starr, Professor of Asian Christianity and Theology at Yale University, Guest Research Fellow in the United States of the ISCS and our long-standing collaborative partner, on her election as an International Fellow of the British Academy.

For many years, Professor Starr has devoted herself to the study of Chinese theology, opening up significant scholarly pathways through the dynamic interplay of Chinese theology and literature. Her rigorous scholarship and substantial contributions make this recognition a source of genuine delight for the academic community.

Professor Starr’s scholarly output is both rich and wide-ranging, and she has frequently travelled to Mainland China and Hong Kong for academic exchange and lectures. Her major monograph Chinese Theology: Text and Context (2016) offers a penetrating examination of the intimate connections between Chinese theological texts, literary form, and historical context. The three-volume Modern Chinese Theologies (2023–2024), which she edited, systematically maps and presents the multifaceted landscape of modern Chinese theology. A Reader in Chinese Theology (2022), the fruit of a decade’s careful translation work by her and her dedicated team, brings classic texts of Sino-Christian theology to English-language readers and has made a valuable contribution to international academic dialogue.
