本團為隸屬港島第7旅（公開旅）的男女混合幼童軍團。我們的常規集會地點是北角寶馬山道港島第7旅總部，而集會時間為星期日早上10時至正午12時。

童軍運動是一項不分出身、種族、階級與宗派的運動。我們歡迎任何年滿7歲半但不足12歲的兒童，在每年的3月和9月加入幼童軍A團，並成為世界童軍運動的一份子。

幼童軍A團的前身為於1950年成立的香港第7旅小狼團（Wolf Cub Pack）。「香港第7旅」即港島第7旅的舊稱，而根據相關的調查，第7旅的創立年份甚至可上溯至1921年。
