Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The City University of Hong Kong Alumni Association (CityUAA) was originally held on 5th December 2025, however, the quorum was not present within half an hour from the time appointed and the meeting stands adjourned to the same day at the same time in the next week (12th December 2025). All Members of the Association are cordially invited to attend.

Agenda:
1. To confirm the Minutes of the Previous Adjourned Annual General Meeting held on 30th December 2024;
2. To receive and consider the Chairman’s Report for the year ending 30th September 2025;
3. To receive and consider the audited Statement of Accounts / Financial Report of the Association for the year ended 30th September 2025;

2. To receive and consider the Chairman’s Report for the year ending 30th September 2025;

1. Dr William Cho - 曹志成博士為伊利沙伯醫院臨床腫瘤科科學主任 (醫學)，英國科學局特許科學家，英國生物醫學科學研究所，香港醫務化驗學會及香港分子生物診斷學會院士。投身臨床研究逾30年，他運用分子生物學、蛋白質組學、基因組學、免疫學、生物資訊學和中醫學等多種學科進行癌症研究。

Dr Cho於各大國際性醫學及科學雜誌發表超過700多篇論文，包括Lancet 刺針，Lancet Oncology 刺針腫瘤學，涵蓋了癌症生物標誌物、蛋白質組學、非編碼核糖核酸、細胞外囊泡和中醫藥等廣泛領域。 此外，他還撰寫了數十本書籍，包括“MicroRNAs in Cancer Translational Research'...等

曹博士自2017年起被史丹福大學列入全球前2%最具影響力的科學家，亦獲科睿唯安（Clarivate）評為2023年和2024年度最廣獲徵引研究人員，全球不到7,000名頂尖學者獲此殊榮，而曹博士更是醫院管理局下唯一獲此殊榮之本地學者。

2. Dr Wendy Wong - 黃韻婷博士是香港註冊中醫師，擔任希愈客席中醫顧問，並於香港中文大學、北京中醫藥大學及香港理工大學兼任榮譽教職。她擁有香港浸會大學中醫學雙學位及香港大學博士學位，曾於香港中文大學任教。

作為中醫腫瘤學傳承弟子，Dr Wong的研究領域廣泛，包括中醫在基層醫療中的效果、中醫/針灸的臨床研究方法學、中醫生存質量或體質量表的制定和編制、中醫基層醫療流行病學研究、中醫癌症的生存回顧性研究以及中醫治療的成本效益研究等。

Dr Wong致力于培訓中醫和西醫的臨床研究基礎，以提高循證醫學的水平，使病人受益于科研成果。除了專注于中醫藥在婦科和癌症臨床應用方面，黃博士還參與幷主持了多個香港政府和醫管局的臨床研究基金項目。她的研究成果發表在國際科學期刊上。
