Thanks to an incredible visiting dental and volunteer team and our energetic cohort of local healthcare students, we recently wrapped up an impactful 6-day dental campaign in Ouesso! Working 9- to 10-hour days, our team provided tooth extractions, fillings, and oral health education to dozens of patients, including brave young children! The demand was overwhelming, proving just how vital holistic healthcare is to our community. Generous organisations Benco Dental, Patterson Dental, and World Dental Relief donated surgical instruments and supplies via Drs Isa Chen and Willa Chu, which made vital procedures possible. Thank you to everyone who supported our dental outreach!

感激優秀的牙科義工團隊再次到訪剛果韋索，帶領我們一班充滿活力的當地醫護學生，順利完成了為期六日的牙科外展活動！團隊每日工作九至十小時，為數十名病人（當中包括非常勇敢的小朋友！）拔牙和補牙，並推廣口腔健康教育。區內需求殷切，正好說明全人醫療對我們社區何其重要。此外，感謝Benco Dental、Patterson Dental和World Dental Relief慷慨捐贈了不少手術工具與物資予Isa Chui醫生和Willa Chu醫生，讓她們施行各項重要治療時更得心應手。衷心感謝支持這次牙科外展的每一位！

Pastor Chris Denham joined us this summer with a strong mission to empower local community leaders in Ouesso. We hosted a team-building day and a leadership conference attended by around 40 local pastors and church leaders, alongside our staff and visitors. Together, we explored organisational health, mentorship, and strategies for building stronger community support systems. On 5th September, 25 incredible musicians took the stage at Union Church for a fantastic afternoon of music. Today, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to our performers, who ranged from 4 years old to adults! Not only did they charm us with their talent, but each participant raised HK$1,000 or more—meaning every single one of these superstars raised enough to fund a life-changing, sight-saving surgery. Thank you to our wonderful musicians, their proud families, and everyone who sponsored them. You truly restored sight and changed lives!

剛過去的星期六（9月5日），25位才華洋溢的音樂家齊集香港佑寧堂，馬拉松式演奏了一首又一首悠揚悅耳的樂章，共度了一個高雅而療癒的下午。我們衷心感謝每一位表演者——他們的年紀由4歲至成年人不等！他們不僅以才華贏得全場掌聲，每位更為目養計劃籌得港幣1,000元或以上的善款——換句話說，每位演奏家所籌得的金額，足以資助一次改寫生命、重見光明的手術。感謝這群出色的音樂家、背後支持他們的家人，以及每位贊助者。你們確實恢復了視力，改變了生命！

After months of preparation and travel, and some travel disruptions, the team assembled in Ouesso and ready to begin serving the community. From the US, we had Dr Isa, Tony, Micah and Faith, as well as Kevin and Helena from Boston, and Dr Charles from California; from Toronto, Canada we had Dr Willa; and from Leeds, UK we had Pastor Chris and his daughter Ania. The first day they assembled was spent with preparation and organisation of the dental clinic, the English club, and the Leadership Summit. In a community where there are many needs, we are grateful to have these volunteers help with learning, connecting, and offering care.

Week 4 of camp brought our final group of campers for an unforgettable closing of the summer camp. The Combest kids joined the Ouesso kids for a time of games, songs, and learning, and building good character and values. On graduation day, the kids lingered at the hospital, even role-playing at the nurses' station, imitating our team's daily work. They were surprisingly convincing as nurses and patients! Over the 4 weeks, 4 different groups of kids made memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. Thanks to everyone who helped give these incredible kids a summer to remember!

兒童夏令營踏入第四週，也是今屆夏令營的最後一星期。Combest 一家的小朋友亦趁機參與其中，與韋索的孩子一起玩遊戲、唱歌跳舞、學習，從中建立良好的品格與價值觀。畢業禮當天，一眾小朋友仍依依不捨，留在醫院繼續玩耍，甚至在護士站角色扮演，模仿我們團隊日常工作的模樣，這些小護士和小病人舉手投足也似模似樣呢！四星期、四批小朋友，分別在這裡留下了成長的足跡；這些回憶將伴隨他們繼續前行。感謝曾為小朋友締造難忘暑假的每一位！
