Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities

With effect from April 3, 2026, $2 Scheme changes from a flat $2 fare per trip to "$2 Flat Rate or 80 Per cent Off".

For adult fares at $10 or below, only $2 is payable, whereas an 80 per cent discount applies to adult fares over $10.

Greetings from YMMSS!

Thanks to the support of Beat Drugs Fund, we have been working on the project "Back to family - Support Non Ethnic Chinese DDPs and their families" since May 2024 till now.
With years of service provided, we are always curious to learn from non ethnic Chinese drug addicts in recovery what helps them better integrate to the community and start a new life.

I am writing on behalf of YMMSS to invite you in joining our coming program, The journey of recovery - From Addiction to Belonging. This will be a sharing session by non ethnic Chinese Drug addicts in recovery, family members and the community.
Hopefully, we can hear from different parties what support is helpful and gather wisdom in guiding service provision in a meaningful way.

Details of the program are as follows:

Date: 26/4/2026 (Sun)
Time: 4pm-6pm
Venue: Worship Nepali Church HK - 11/F, Vincent Commercial Centre No:21 Hillwood Road, TST, KLN,HK
Content: Sharing by non ethnic Chinese individuals in recovery, families, and community members.

Circle of Security Parenting (COSP)
The Circle of Security is a visual map of attachment.
In COSP program we will walk parents through the circle and invite parents to reflect their parenting practices.

After the course, parents will be able to

In collaboration with with Community Health Education Project team of the Hong Kong Red Cross, we have completed the Health Literacy Training Programme for Multicultural Women in Dec 2025.
The programme supports women in building their capacity and having health resources in caring themselves and their family.

Useful resources are shared in the lesson:
learn how to plan and prepare nutrition base healthy meals for their family
- gain tips and tools for self-monitoring health understanding four vital signs
- remake healthy recipes and share among with their classmates
- gifts, including oximeter, forehead thermometer and food scale

Learning together as a community, we CAN have healthy meals and adopt healthy lifestyle.

HKUSPACE is organising "Foundation Certificate in Vocational Chinese Language for NCS School Leavers" in three different categories.
Listening and Speaking - QF Level 1
Literacy and Reading - QF Level 1
Reading and Writing - QF Level 2

Start Date: 17 Jan 2026 (Sat)
Duration: 20 Weeks (every Saturday excluding public holidays)
Course Fee: HKD 1000 per programme. (80% reimbursable for attendance 75% and Grade D or above).
