今年初，我們與 #環保署合作，為維園花卉展覽園林展區，設計並製作了這款種植套裝所用的五色系列回收塑膠花盆。♻️🪴

大家看到的粉彩色系，其實得來不易。要使用 100% 本地回收膠樽蓋做出統一的顏色，最大的挑戰在於「前期分類」。每一種色調，都挑選自不同顏色的膠樽蓋。只要混入了一點點深色雜質，就會破壞整體的色調。經過分類、破碎、熱熔到注塑成型，膠料在模具中自然流動，最終冷卻凝固成獨一無二的雲石紋理。🎨

From bottle caps to flower pots!

We’re happy to share our earlier work with HK for the 2025 Flower Show. We turned 100% local recycled bottle caps into these planting pots.

Achieving these pastel tones requires careful pre-sorting. A tiny bit of dark impurity can mess up the tone. The final result is a unique marble texture on every pot.

Discover our meaningful collaboration with to give new life to abandoned plastics and wood, now on display at the brand new Swire Coastal Outreach Hub 太古海岸生態研習館 (opened Oct 2024) in Cape D’Aguilar 鶴咀!

🌊 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠:

Hong Kong’s iconic plastic water barriers (水馬), along with large water containers and garbage bins, abandoned for over a decade near the Cape D’Aguilar Marine Reserve, were cleaned and upcycled at FabLab HK. Upcycling wasn’t always easy—working with old, dirty, sun-exposed plastics was a real challenge. But through teamwork and craftsmanship, we transformed them into table top displays, ballot boxes, and souvenir coasters.

🌳 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠:

Using CNC milling, we sculpted reclaimed wood from Y·PARK to recreate Cape D’Aguilar’s unique terrain—bringing the landscape indoors for everyone to explore.

The Swire Coastal Outreach Hub is dedicated to education and community. Through guided tours, visitors can learn more about ’s incredible marine biodiversity—and discover the possibilities that creative upcycling can offer.
