【APF x 一喜種田｜從播種到收穫的學習旅程🌱】

早前（4月21日）， Aspire 青年發展中心 學員於宏天空中農莊率先展開一場農耕實作。在專業導師指導下，他們手握鋤頭，進行鬆土、播種、施肥及除草等需要較高技巧與耐心的農務工序。學員親手種植紫蘇葉，並持續觀察作物生長變化，從中累積系統性的農業知識，體會生命成長的歷程與農夫的扎實付出——這是比單純收成更深入的學習。

而上周三（6月3日），我們治療及支援中心 「學習小夥伴」的小朋友則接力參與另一階段的工作：親手採摘成熟的農作物，認識雞蛋花、秋葵、青瓜等蔬果植物。小朋友一邊收成，一邊學習分辨植物特徵，笑聲滿載農莊。

感謝 Farm Together 提供場地及專業的耕作課程，讓不同能力的學員與小朋友都能在真實農耕環境中，找到適合自己的學習角色。透過這次從播種到收成的完整歷程，大家共同體會農夫的艱辛，也更懂得珍惜得來不易的食物🌿

【APF x Farm Together | A Learning Journey from Sowing to Harvest 🌱】

Earlier (April 21), Aspire learners were the first to take part in a hands-on farming experience at Sky Farm, Skyline Tower.

Under the guidance of professional instructors, they wielded hoes and carried out tasks such as loosening soil, sowing seeds, applying fertilizer, and weeding — all of which require both skill and patience. Aspirers planted perilla leaves and continued to observe the growth of the crops, gaining systematic agricultural knowledge while experiencing the process of life and the dedicated effort of farmers — a deeper form of learning that goes beyond mere harvesting.

Then, on June 3, the children from our “Learning Buddies” program at the Therapy and Support Center took on another phase of the journey: harvesting the ripe crops and learning to recognize different plants and vegetables such as plumeria, okra, and cucumber. As they collected the harvest, they learned to identify the unique characteristics of each plant, filling the farm with laughter and joy.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sino Farm-together for providing the venue and organsing the farming programme, allowing learners and children of different abilities to find their suitable role in an authentic farming environment. Through this complete journey — from sowing to harvesting — everyone came to understand the hard work of farmers and learned to truly appreciate the value of food that does not come easily 🌿

預祝每一位默默付出的爸爸，父親節快樂！

我的先生是一個對自己要求很高的人。當我提到想提名他參加「星級爸爸」計劃時，他的第一反應是沈默，隨後謙虛地拒絕，覺得自己做得還不夠好，未必稱得上「星級」。但在我心中，這一年多以來，他為了我們的孩子所做出的改變與付出，已經給了我們最踏實、最溫暖的支持。這篇文章，是我作為妻子，想對他的辛勞與堅持給予的一份肯定。

面對疲憊，選擇為愛踏出房間

先生的性格內斂，不善言辭。身為家庭的經濟支柱，他在外工作壓力極大，以前下班回家時，體力與精神往往已經到了極限。那段時間，他最渴望的補償就是躲在房間裡玩手機，在那小小的螢幕中尋找一點屬於自己的安靜空間。然而，那時我們的孩子大約五歲，正是最需要體力與耐性去照顧的階段。由於孩子當時非常「黏」我，我常常處於緊繃狀態，身心俱疲。當我最終向先生坦誠表達我需要休息空間與「Me Time」時，他沒有推諉，而是認真地開始反省。他意識到，自己必須放下手機，走進孩子的生活。於是，他開始主動接手陪孩子玩的責任。現在，每個星期他休息的那天，都會獨自帶孩子外出。這對以前習慣安靜、不愛流汗的他來說，是一個很大的跨越。

用雙腳與車輪，陪孩子探索世界

為了幫電力充沛的孩子「放電」，先生開始研究各種行山路線。從南朗山、嘉頓山、主教山到大帽山、千島湖，這兩年他陪著孩子走過許多地方。他雖然不愛戶外運動，但為了讓孩子接觸大自然，他願意頂著太陽，陪著孩子一級一級向上走。

為了讓這份陪伴能持續，他更將自己唯一的興趣轉化為親子的連結。先生平日生活簡單，很少娛樂，以前放假最愛獨自踩單車。從去年開始，他和我合力教導小朋友學會了踩單車。現在，我們的親子時間多了一項重要活動：去全香港不同地方踩單車。我們一家曾一起征服馬鞍山、大埔、大圍，甚至是元朗南生圍。過程中，我們驚喜地發掘到兒子的意志力很強，而且非常耐踩。孩子現在非常熱愛踩單車，也喜歡跟著爸爸發掘新地方。有一次，先生獨自帶他從屯門踩去元朗，結束後兩人一起去吃那份他們都喜愛的甜品——屯門很出名的「B仔涼粉」。看著孩子滿足的樣子，先生也感到了前所未有的快樂。今年三月，爸爸更帶孩子參加了「博愛單車百萬行」。在孩子剛滿六歲不久的年紀，竟然能在昂船洲的馬路上堅持踏完 13 公里的路程。父子倆在昂船洲大橋拍了一張相，兩人站在平時難得一上的高速公路上，那張相片充滿了共同完成目標的自豪與滿足。

從興趣到專業：為了守護而努力

除了體能上的陪伴，先生也用心觀察孩子的喜好。孩子喜歡電子手錶，為了擴闊兒子的興趣，他會帶孩子去不同牌子的電子店，甚至是電子特賣場逛逛；孩子喜歡巴士，他就會陪孩子玩「巴士隨機遊」，隨機上車及轉車，看看會到達哪裡。隨着意想不到的下車地點，孩子對於乘搭交通工具變得越來越有彈性。

上年開始，我們發現孩子很喜歡看露營的影片，為了確保安全和更有系統地帶我們去野外，先生利用公餘時間考取了山藝一級及二級證照。今年四月，我們一家人成功完成了第一次露營。其間他很有耐性地教導我和孩子一起合力搭建帳篷、天幕，以及煮食，整個過程孩子臉上都充滿著新奇和開心，這讓我們都感到非常滿足。

最珍貴的收穫：兩父子的對話

這些努力換來了最珍貴的結果：以前孩子眼裡只有媽媽，但現在孩子非常享受每週一次與爸爸單獨相處的時光。最讓我感動的是，孩子現在很喜歡與爸爸「傾偈」，兩父子能開始有互動、有對話。對我們家庭來說，這就是最巨大的進步。先生常說自己未必是最好的爸爸，但他絕對是最願意為了孩子去改變、去學習、去付出的爸爸。這篇文章，是我對他這段路程的一份肯定。他在我心中，早已是實至名歸的星級爸爸。

【🌟守護媽媽的熙熙︰20天密集治療帶來改變，全日制ABA延續希望】

「你的世界裡，究竟有沒有我？」
這是熙熙媽媽過去六年，每天在心裡問自己的一句話。

3歲確診自閉症的熙熙，從未正眼看過媽媽一眼，總是沉溺在自己的世界；出門像一場挑戰——停不下來、行為難以控制，每次帶他外出都讓媽媽感到無比擔憂。

直到一個偶然，媽媽在網上看見APF，抱著「試一試」的心情，讓熙熙接受了 20天的ABA密集治療。

改變，悄悄發生了。
短短20天，熙熙開始發出單字。
更在第20天，他主動走過來，清清楚楚叫了一聲：「媽媽」。

六年來的第一聲「媽媽」，讓熙熙媽媽紅了眼眶。

【🌟Mom’s Journey with Hei Hei: 20 Days of Intensive ABA Brings Change, Full-Day ABA Continues the Hope】

"Does your world even have a place for me?"

This was the question Hei Hei's mother asked herself every single day for the past six years.

Diagnosed with autism at age 3, Hei Hei never once looked his mother in the eye. He was always immersed in his own world. Going out was a challenge – he couldn't stay still, his behaviour was hard to manage, and every trip outside filled his mother with deep worry.

Then, by chance, his mother came across APF online. With a "let's give it a try" attitude, she enrolled Hei Hei in our 20-day ABA program.

Change began to happen, quietly.

In just 20 days, Hei Hei started uttering single words.

And on the 20th day, he walked up to his mother and clearly called out: "Mama."

That first "Mama" in six years brought tears to his mother's eyes.

Seeing her child's progress, she decided to enrol Hei Hei in APF's Full-Day ABA Program to build on that change.

What's even more unexpected – during a scary accident, Hei Hei showed a reaction he had never displayed before…

【APF x 華潤隆地｜母親節暖心手作日💝】

早前（5月9日），華潤隆地物業管理有限公司的義工團隊來到APF中心，與8位治療及支援中心小朋友一同參與工作坊，度過了一個充滿笑聲與溫暖的早上。

在義工一對一的耐心指導下，小朋友親手製作暖心護手霜及洗頭水，從跟隨多個製作步驟、認識日常用品的來源，到完成作品後親手送給媽媽——每一個小小的過程，都是孩子學習感恩與獨立的寶貴練習。同一時間，媽媽們也放下了平日的忙碌，投入屬於自己的手作時光，在創作擴香石中為自己充充電，享受片刻的寧靜與療癒。

看着小朋友完成作品時自豪的笑容，媽媽收到禮物時感動的眼神，以及義工全程的耐心與陪伴，原來愛，就是最好的母親節禮物。

【APF x China Resources Longdation | Mother’s Day Heartwarming Handmade Workshop 💝】

Earlier (May 9), the volunteer team from China Resources Building came to the APF Centre and joined 8 children from our Therapy and Support Centre in a workshop, spending a morning filled with laughter and warmth.

With the patient one-on-one guidance of the volunteers, the children made handmade hand cream and shampoo — from following multi-step instructions and learning about everyday care products, to gifting their creations to their mothers. Every small step was a valuable practice in learning gratitude and independence.

At the same time, the mothers set aside their usual busyness and enjoyed a craft session of their own, creating scented stone diffusers — a moment to recharge and find peace and healing amid the quiet.
Seeing the proud smiles on the children’s faces after completing their work, the touched looks in the mothers’ eyes when receiving their gifts, and the patience and companionship shown by the volunteers throughout — it turned out that love is the best Mother’s Day gift of all.

Our heartfelt thanks to the China Resources Longdation volunteer team for caring for and accompanying each family, and for making this Mother’s Day even warmer 💐

【💙《世界關顧自閉日・共創無界》圓滿舉行｜跨界對話，讓共融不再只是口號】

繼4月2日APF藍服日後，我們迎來了另一場意義深遠的共融盛事——由自閉兒生命建立發展社 及 APF 聯同轄下小學 AP School 奧柏學校 聯合主辦的《世界關顧自閉日・共創無界》活動，已於4月11日順利圓滿結束。

當日反應熱烈，多位自閉症人士、照顧者、學者、機構同工及關心共融的公眾人士齊聚APF總部，一同見證「共融」的無限可能。

活動內容豐富多元，現場設有主題論壇、專題講座、手作攤位、遊戲互動及才藝表演。包括：Aspire青年發展中心 學員即場義賣親手製作的蝴蝶酥，展現工作培訓成果；APF治療及支援中心 的小朋友與Dancing Joy帶來精彩舞蹈演出，贏得全場掌聲；各攤位及禮品區亦讓參加者滿載而歸。

活動重頭戲是由 自閉兒生命建立發展社創辦人劉國威先生 Wallace 擔任主持的主題論壇。講者陣容涵蓋不同領域：
📌學者代表：分享外國的共融政策及法律框架
📌機構同工：剖析香港現有資源與服務現況
📌家長代表：道出照顧者的掙扎與堅持
📌自閉症青年代表：親身講述成長中的困境與盼望

【💙 World Autism Awareness: "Creating Inclusion Without Boundaries" Concludes Successfully｜Cross-Sector Dialogue Turns Inclusion into More Than Just a Slogan】

Following the APF Dress Blue Day on April 2, we welcomed another meaningful inclusive event – "World Autism Awareness: Creating Inclusion Without Boundaries," co-hosted by DEA, APF, and our affiliated primary school AP School. The event was successfully concluded on April 11.

The event received an enthusiastic response, with numerous individuals with autism, caregivers, academics, social service professionals, and members of the public who care about inclusive communities gathering at the APF Headquarters to witness the boundless possibilities of "inclusion."

The event was rich and diverse, featuring a themed forum, specialised talks, arts & crafts booths, interactive games, and talent performances. Highlights included:

Learners from Aspire Youth Development Centre held an on-site charity sale of handmade palmiers, showcasing the outcomes of their vocational training; Children from the APF Therapy and Support Center, together with Dancing Joy, delivered a wonderful dance performance that earned applause from the audience; Various booths and a gift redemption area also left participants with full hands and happy hearts.

The highlight of the event was the themed forum moderated by Mr. Wallace Lau, Founder of the DEA. The panel brought together voices from different fields:
📌 Academic representative: sharing inclusive policies and legal frameworks from overseas
📌 Social service professional: analysing the current status of resources and services in Hong Kong
📌 Parent representative: expressing the struggles and perseverance of caregivers
📌 Youth representative: sharing first-hand the challenges and hopes experienced while growing up

The forum explored inclusion from multiple perspectives – law, education, community, and lived experience – leaving us with a profound realisation: support should not remain at the level of "filling deficits," but should move towards a direction grounded in rights, dignity, and neurodiversity. Only by breaking down invisible barriers can we truly enable everyone to participate, express themselves, and grow.

A special thank you to DEA for co-planning and coordinating, and to all partner organisations for their full support. We are also deeply grateful to every parent, child, professional, and volunteer who came – your participation turned "inclusion" from a mere slogan into genuine interaction and connection.

Although the event has come to a successful close, the dialogue on "Creating Inclusion Without Boundaries" has only just begun. We will continue to champion inclusion, and we look forward to gathering with all of you again in the future, carrying forward this spirit of boundlessness ♾️

【💙APF藍服日圓滿結束｜感謝每一位穿上藍色的你】

4月2日藍服日已順利完結，我們收到許多來自公眾的藍色身影——無論是上班族、學生、家長，還是寵物朋友，大家都用心穿上藍色，以行動表達對自閉症社群的支持。

而藍服日前，Aspire 青年發展中心 學員更親身在大廈大堂向公眾派發藍服日貼紙。當日反應熱烈，不少租戶及附近上班族都領取了貼紙以示支持，我們衷心感謝每一位對自閉症人士的關注。

【💙Dress Blue Day Successfully Concluded | Thank You to Everyone Who Wore Blue】

APF Dress Blue Day on April 2nd has come to a successful close. We received many blue-dressed photos from the public – whether office workers, students, parents, or even pet friends, everyone wore blue with heart to show their support for the autism community through action.

Before the Dress Blue Day, Aspirers went to the building lobby to distribute Dress Blue Day stickers to the public. The response was enthusiastic, with many tenants and nearby office workers taking stickers to show their support. We sincerely thank every one of you for your care and attention toward individuals with autism.

Special thanks to Thac Group, Autism Partnership, Wellington Management, Sunlife and other corporation teams for their strong support, leading their employees to wear blue together and promote community inclusion through concrete action. Every blue figure is a warm and powerful gesture.
