Seriously overdosed with Vitamin "D" today, from the sun, our Dolphins and a cute little Doggie for a corporate retreat of team building. Pinkies seemed to have endorsed the idea, we encountered so many of them and excitedly a tiny little calf who delighted everyone. Enjoy these amazing photos from James.

Gorgeous weather and a super lucky day. So happy to have a group from a university in Shenzhen, they and the others were greeted by around 10 dolphins with almost nonstop sightings. They went circling around us, leaping, splashing; some stunned us all by coming super close without warning. James caught a lot of those magical moments. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from the Dolphin Team and our beloved pinkies!

You pay. The dolphin performs. The photograph is taken.
But the dolphin never chose the interaction.
Day after day, captive dolphins are touched by strangers and trained to repeat the same behaviors on demand. They cannot refuse, leave or decide that they have had enough. What the industry calls a special connection is really a transaction in which only one side has any control.
Dolphins do not exist to complete our bucket lists.

It was super hot but so happy to rekindle with our long missed, beloved pinkies. We hit gold with a totally unexpected close visit by a very young calf while heading back. It's too sudden and too close to capture with camera but James as always caught the other bigger calf with its adults as well as the jumping and flying fish. Besides lots to see on the sea, there was this beautiful bird gliding through above our heads. It was really special, White Dolphins and White-bellied Sea Eagle on the same day.

We got overdosed with Vitamin D today, from the sun and sea; D also stands for dolphins. After many days of heavy downpour, very hot weather returns and we got to go to visit our beloved pinkies with a group of students and teachers. We stayed with a group of 5 for more than hour and there were some scattered in the far. One of the adults have a dent on the back, let's call it Scar Back. Luckily its movements didn't seem to be affected. Please take care and stay well Scar Back. Big thanks to James for sharing these great shots.

Who is Panda, you ask? We met her on April 12. She has a ring of dark shadow round her eyes, making them exceptionally large. She loves to spy-hop and jump. She was the same when we saw her again on Sunday. What a pleasure when she's around!
