【💗 我哋好拍檔 – Cat嘅勵志故事💗】
20多年來，資深電台主持陳心怡（Cat）一直係我哋嘅忠實好友。佢多年擔任「癌症基金會粉紅革命」啟動禮司儀，用聲音同埋愛心，提升大眾對乳癌嘅關注，將粉紅力量傳遍社區。

今年，一向訪問患者嘅Cat，自己變成被訪對象。六月一次例行自我檢查，佢發現乳房有異常，立即求醫，最終確診第一期乳癌。面對確診，Cat選擇以快速而從容、正面且樂觀嘅態度迎向挑戰。佢希望透過自身故事，向女性傳達將健康放喺首位嘅訊息，鼓勵姊妹們要關心乳房健康，定期檢查。

【💗 Our friend, Cat’s inspiring story💗】
For over two decades, veteran radio host Cat Chan has been our cherished friend. As the long-standing emcee of our annual Pink Revolution launch events, she has dedicated her voice and heart to raise awareness of breast health and the importance of early detection.

This year, her story takes on new meaning. In June, a routine breast self-check led Cat to seek medical advice, resulting in an early diagnosis of Stage 1 breast cancer. She faced it with courage, positivity, and immediate action. Thanks to acting promptly, Cat was able to begin treatment at an early stage. Today, she hopes her experience will inspire other women to put their health first by checking their breasts regularly and seeking medical advice if something doesn't feel right.

Together, we can raise awareness and remind every woman: Don’t wait for the alarm, check regularly for breast cancer

乳癌係香港女性最常見癌症。隨著醫學進步，乳癌治療已邁向更精準同多元化嘅發展💗。除咗選擇合適嘅治療方案，均衡飲食同營養補充亦係患者抗癌路上嘅重要支援，有助維持體力、應對治療副作用同促進康復。

為咗令大眾更全面了解乳癌最新治療資訊同營養護理知識，我哋特別喺十月乳癌關注月舉辦健康講座，將深入淺出講解乳癌治療新趨勢，以及治療期間嘅飲食營養要點。

衷心感謝 CrossFit Cavaliers 全力支持「癌症基金會粉紅革命」！

上星期六（10月3日），CAVS 健身房一班 Gym 友齊齊為慈善做運動，令每個動作、每滴汗水都變得更有意義！所籌善款連同官方 T 恤活動嘅收益，全數支持我哋嘅免費乳癌支援服務。

佢哋仲推出為期一個月嘅「Check Your Plates」跳繩挑戰，每個組別頭五名參加者每跳一下，CAVS 就會捐出港幣一蚊畀我哋。

Thank you to CrossFit Cavaliers for kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by supporting the Hong Kong Cancer Fund's Pink Revolution!

On Saturday, October 3rd, the amazing CAVS community came together for a charity workout. Every single drop of sweat went toward a wonderful cause, with all workout donations and profits from the official campaign T-shirt sales going directly to our breast cancer support services.

The impact continues all month long with their "Check Your Plates" jump rope challenge! For every rep achieved by the top five athletes in each division, CAVS is pledging HKD 1 to the donation total.

本會聯席主席阮偉文博士今日於世界癌症大會發表演說，分享從經濟效益角度，探討積極預防癌症的重要性。阮博士強調，降低癌症風險不只關乎個人健康選擇，而是建設更健康、更可持續發展的社區層面上，扮演著至關重要的角色。

我們一直非常重視推動市民降低癌症風險、呼籲定期檢查、提倡「及早發現，生機再現」的理念，同時為受癌症影響人士提供全面及免費專業支援。只要大家多加關注癌症、養成健康生活習慣，再配合及早介入，就可以減少癌症帶來的影響。讓我們同心，令更多人能夠身體健康並活得更好。

We're pleased to share that our Co-Chairman, Dr. Andrew Yuen, spoke at the UICC World Cancer Congress Hong Kong 2026 today on: "Proactive Cancer Prevention: Fiscally Sound Return on Investment". His presentation explored why cancer prevention is not only a public health priority, but also an important foundation for healthier individuals, stronger communities and a more sustainable future.

At HKCF, we remain committed to promoting cancer prevention, regular check-ups, early detection and holistic support for those touched by cancer. Through greater awareness, healthier lifestyles and early intervention, we can reduce the impact of cancer. By working together, we can help more people stay healthy and well.

《維持生命治療的預作決定條例》喺今年 7 月 31 日正式生效。本會特別請嚟法律同醫療專家，深入講解預設醫療指示、不作心肺復甦術命令（DNACPR）同持久授權書嘅重點，幫助大家及早為自己同家人作出合適嘅持續照顧安排。講座將以實體同網上直播形式同步進行，尚餘少量名額，下星期三（9月30日）截止報名，請把握機會參加！

新條例為患者喺醫療決定上提供更多選擇權，令癌症患者有機會更清楚表達自己希望接受嘅持續照顧安排，同時亦可以同家人好好溝通想法。相信癌症患者同家屬都會有好多嘅問題想問，而講座將會釋除大家嘅疑惑：
📍家人可唔可以推翻我嘅預設醫療指示？
📍所謂「不作心肺復甦術命令」係咪即係等如「放棄治療」？
