[ Student Union Announcement ]

The Election of St. Francis Xavier’s College Student Union 2017 – 2018 is going to be held in September 2017, and two committee members of the current Student Union will be joining (a) cabinet(s) to participate in the coming election. In order to prepare for the election and to avoid any clashes of interests, the following committee members have ceased active duty with effect from today.

For those who are interested and have not purchased the tickets, you may submit the following application form and hand in the ticket fee, $40, to the committee members in your form during school days.

今個星期一眾運動校隊將會舉辦Sports Week，屆時會為大家帶來一連串精彩的節目！詳情可留意明天各校隊的宣布。

明天是一年一度的水運會，同學需於8:15前到達觀塘游泳池。而學生會將提供帶隊服務，有興趣的同學可於7:50或之前到達觀塘港鐵站D1出口集合。

至於點名方式將沿用本年度陸運會的電子點名系統，同學請謹記帶備學生證。最後，希望各位健兒能為社爭取好成績！

It is our annual Swimming Gala tomorrow! Students have to arrive Kwun Tong Swimming Pool before 8:15. For those who would like to take part in our leading service could gather at Kwun Tong MTR station Exit D1 before 7:50.

The attendance-taking system for the Athletics Meet this year would be adopted for the Swimming Gala tomorrow. Please bring your student ID card. Hope all swimmers could have good results!

不經不覺間本會任期已近尾聲，為了聆聽同學的心聲、解答同學對學生會的疑問，學生會將推行「給學生會的話」。同學的留言將會由幹事親自在本會民主牆回覆，措施將會由明天(15/5)起一連四日推行，詳情請留意明天的宣布。

Our term of office has almost come to an end. In order to listen to schoolmates' views and answer your enquiries towards student union, we are now going to carry out an event named "給學生會的話". Your opinions would be posted onto the SFX wall and replied by our committee members. The activity lasts for four days starting from tomorrow (15/5). Congratulations on the accomplishments achieved by Greenovation, the JA company representing our school!

JA Company of the Year 1st Runner-up (School-Based Track)
全年最佳JA學生公司亞軍(校本組)

The JACP Final Competition took place yesterday at the Jockey Club Auditorium, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

After a presentation and a Q&A session done by the Xaverians, the results were announced during the Graduation Ceremony, which was held right after the Final Competition.

We were awarded as the 1st Runner-up of JA Company of the Year Award in the School-Based Track!

"Notwithstanding that we couldn't create history, it's already a great achievement and most importantly, we all gained much experiences and learned a lot."

Meanwhile, our company also won the following awards:
1. Creativity and Innovation Award
2. Best Presentation Award
3. Corporate Sustainability Award

In late March, CEO Justin Chan and Technology Director Ken Ho respectively entered the final of CEO of the Year and Technology Director of the Year. Despite not successfully winning the award yesterday, they agreed that they both got much in return.

A huge congratulations to the winning JA company — Harness , SCGS JA Company and all other finalists of the JA Company of the Year Award, including AdapTable - JA Company from St. Paul's Co-educational College and REleaf Hk,a JA company from St. Catharine's School for Girls. The teams all performed very well!

Lastly, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Business Advisors Mr. Man Chan and Mr. Pho HO, our link teachers Mr. Kelvin Chan and Mr. Lee Wilson and all supporters from our School, including our Principal Mr. Iu and all fellow Xaverians. Without your help and support along this journey, we would definitely not have achieved that far.

We hope that our mission can be spread to more and more people in the future — Change Your Lifestyle, Change the World!

能力越大，責任越大。近年紅十字會血庫存量緊張，適逢本週五(3月10日)是我校一年一度的捐血日。學生會及紅十字會謹此呼籲各位滿16歲以上的濟記同學為此出一分力，參與捐血活動。

凡有意響應捐血日同學，可聯絡吳偉昌老師以索取家長同意書，並於捐血日帶備香港身份證作登記之用。

Dear Xaverians,

With great ability comes great responsibility. The Red Cross is facing a recent shortage of blood in Hong Kong. The annual blood donation day of our school is going to be held on 10th March (Fri). The Student Union and The Red Cross hereby sincerely invite all Xaverians aged 16 or above to make a contribution to this meaningful event.

For those who are interested, please be reminded that a letter of consent is required on blood donation day. Please contact Mr. John Ng for the letter of consent!
