今日上午，我們進行了手術後檢查。昨日我們在巴拉哈娃（Barahathawa)的最後一天，成功完成了108例白內障手術，使本次眼營的手術總數達到303例。

我們將於明天（11月25日）啟程返回加德滿都，結束此次任務。

我們衷心感謝市長及所有義工給予的寶貴支持。醫生、醫療團隊以及醫院工作人員所展現出的奉獻精神與辛勤付出，實在令人欽佩。

This morning, we conducted postoperative rounds. Yesterday, on the final day of our Barahathawa eye camp, we successfully performed 108 cataract surgeries, bringing the total number of surgeries to 303 cases.

We will depart for Kathmandu tomorrow (November 25) to conclude this mission.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the District Chief and all volunteers for their invaluable support. The dedication and hard work demonstrated by the doctors, medical team, and hospital staff have been truly inspiring.

We also wish to express our special thanks to all our donors—your generous contributions made every life-changing Eye Camp Program possible.

在白內障摘除手術後，醫生會在眼睛內植入人工水晶體。這些高品質的鏡片由澳洲費雷德‧霍洛基金會在尼泊爾製造。
After cataract removal, the doctor will insert an intraocular lens into the eye. These high-quality lenses are made in Nepal under the Fred Hollows Foundation, Australia.

為確保手術安全與醫療品質，我們於術前系統性執行三大核心評估：生物測量（Biometry）以確認手術參數、血壓監測以評估心血管穩定性，以及血糖檢測以預防術中代謝併發症。所有數據均由專業護理人員精準記錄，並由醫療團隊綜合研判，確保每位病患均在最佳生理狀態下接受手術，實現「零容忍」的術前安全標準。

**Pre-Operative Assessment Protocol**
To ensure surgical safety and high-quality care, we systematically conduct three core pre-operative evaluations: biometry to confirm surgical parameters, blood pressure monitoring to assess cardiovascular stability, and blood glucose testing to prevent intraoperative metabolic complications. All data are accurately recorded by trained nursing staff and reviewed by the medical team to ensure each patient is optimized for surgery, upholding a “zero-tolerance” standard for pre-operative safety.

On Friday, November 21, 2025, our team executed a seamless and highly efficient setup in preparation for the day’s first patient at Barahathawa. The morning was exceptionally busy, reflecting strong patient turnout and growing demand for surgical services. With clear coordination and dedicated effort from all staff, we successfully navigated the high volume of pre-operative activities.

This surge in activity confirms our anticipation of a sustained increase in surgical caseloads at the facility. In response, we are proactively reviewing resource allocation, staffing schedules, and supply chains to ensure we can maintain the highest standards of care, safety, and efficiency as demand continues to rise.

眼營活動更新｜11 月 20 日 2025年

截至昨日（2025 年 11 月 19 日），我們的團隊在巴迪巴斯（Bardibas）眼營, 成功完成了 72 例白內障手術，使本次活動迄今累計完成的手術總數達到 213 例，為當地患者重燃光明。

今日（11 月 20 日）,我們將首先為昨日接受手術的患者進行 覆診檢查, 確保其恢復情況良好. 之後團隊將整裝出發, 轉移至第二個眼營地點——巴拉哈塔瓦（Barahathawa）地區, 繼續為更多亟需眼科照護的偏鄉民眾提供服務.
Eye Camp Campaign Update – 20th November 2025

As of yesterday, 19th November 2025, our team successfully performed 72 cataract surgeries at the Bardibas eye camp, bringing the total number of sight-restoring surgeries in this campaign to 213.

Today, we will begin with post-operative follow-up examinations for all patients operated on yesterday to ensure their recovery is progressing well. Following the check-ups, we will pack up and relocate to our second camp site in Barahathawa, where we will continue our mission of delivering high-quality, accessible eye care to underserved communities.
