You are invited to *The Echo Table Dinner*– an evening exploring how women leaders in reshape narratives, reclaim space, and redefine power structures in society.

The theme for our April Echo Table is "Palette of Power: Women Curating the Future." Together, we will delve into:

"An award-winning international curator and institutional leader, Dr. Wang oversees the Museum’s exhibition programme, curatorial research, and design and publishing teams. She has held key leadership positions at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and other major institutions. Dr. Wang co-curated the groundbreaking exhibition Empresses of China’s Forbidden City, named the “Most Influential International Exhibition from Chinese Museums” in 2019."

Congratulations to Teressa Siu on her role as a moderator for the panel on “Courage and Change” at the Mental Health in Journalism Summit on October 9! This is a significant honor and reflects her commitment to fostering dialogue and action for better wellbeing among media professionals.

As BPWHK members, we engaged in a meaningful dialogue with Clifton College's principal and alumni head, focusing on our mission to empower women. We discussed initiatives aimed at providing parental support, resources for balancing work and family, and mentorship programs for alumni. By fostering connections with Clifton College alumni, we aim to build a robust network that champions women's leadership and community involvement. Together, we can create impactful opportunities for women in our community.

Championing Her Strength: BPWHK and Wallball Empower Hong Kong Women
As the President of the BPWHK, it was an immense privilege to attend this morning’s WallBall promotion and meet the extraordinary Women’s World Champion. Her powerful demonstration was not just a display of elite athleticism, but a profound inspiration for every girl and woman in Hong Kong.

Witnessing her skill and strength firsthand solidified our conviction to partner with the International Wall Ball Association. We are thrilled to announce our initiative to bring Wallball to our community. This dynamic sport is a perfect vehicle to empower our girls, fostering confidence, resilience, and physical well-being.

Our mission is to create accessible pathways for women and girls across Hong Kong to pick up a ball and discover their own strength. We will be launching introductory clinics and school programs to build a vibrant, supportive community. Together, we will champion a new generation of female athletes, inspired by a true champion, and celebrate the power of sport to transform lives.

BPWHK Sisters ~

(09 October) marked 10 years since BPW International formally approved our club! We then chartered, with 48 members, at a meeting on 15 October 2015, with me as your first president (2015-2017).

Sindy Leung and Judy Tam, also charter members, served on our first ExCo as Young BPW Representative and Advocacy Chair, respectively; Sindy then became our second president (2017-19) with Judy as her first vice president, and Judy recently stepped into the role of president for 2023.

The 3 of us, along with former president Lisa Fong, now a UN Representative for BPW International, continue to support BPWHK as members of its advisory council.

So, great congratulations to us all, sisters! BPWHK, 10 years STRONG!
