【上山下海｜鹽田梓昔日的大自然鄉村美食】
昔日的鹽田梓，孩子們的教室不只限於課堂之內。🏫放學鐘聲一響，書包一扔，真正的課堂才剛開始。😆
村民憶述：「放咗學我哋都唔需要做功課，跟住就可以去玩啦，好似馬騮仔咁，上山下海。下海可以去捉魚蝦，我哋又識挖番薯煨啦，跟住大家一齊食。……我哋會去捉啲魚蝦蟹，都會肚餓嘅。但係我哋都幾叻，識用啲奶粉罐，執啲石仔，再加水入個奶粉罐入邊煲嚟食。」(故事詳見：https://www.yttstorytelling.org/storymap #3)
像一群放籠的小猴子，孩子們直奔山野與海岸。他們懂得在田邊挖番薯，拾柴生火煨熟；也曉得在海邊捉魚蝦蟹🐟🦐，用奶粉罐盛水、撿石頭堆灶，即席煮出一鍋新鮮味美的海鮮湯🍲。🤤🤤
那個年代沒有專業的露營裝備，大自然卻提供了最豐盛的食材與遊樂場。每一次上山下海，都是一堂關於生存智慧與團隊協作的生活課。🌿
時移世易，今天的鹽田梓已成為了自然保育與生態教育的重要場域。這些昔日孩子們熟悉的海岸鄰居，仍然在這片水域延續牠們的故事。🌊

【Exploring Nature and Enjoying Rustic Deliciousness in the Past】
In the good old days, a child's classroom in Yim Tin Tsai was never confined to four walls. 🏫The moment the school bell rang and schoolbags were tossed aside, the real lessons began.😆

Like monkeys let loose from their cage, the children dashed to the hills and the coast. They knew where to dig for sweet potatoes by the fields, gathering firewood to roast them to perfection. They also knew how to catch fish🐟 and shrimp🦐 along the shoreline, using empty milk tins as pots, stacking stones to make a stove, and cooking up a fresh, delicious seafood soup🍲 (similar to hotpot!)🤤🤤
In those days, there were no camping gadgets or fancy gear, but nature offered the richest pantry and the greatest playground. Every adventure to the mountains and the sea was a lesson in survival skills and teamwork.🌿
Time has moved on. Today, Yim Tin Tsai has become an important site for nature conservation and environmental education. The familiar coastal neighbours of those childhood days still thrive in these waters, continuing their own stories.🌊
If you encounter marine life during your visit, please remember: look with your eyes, not with your hands. We can all be guardians of nature by respecting their lives, not catching or disturbing them, so that this beautiful ecosystem may endure for generations to come.🌱
