Empowering our youth, extending care across our community! On 15 August, I led a dedicated team of enthusiastic youth volunteers on home visits to elderly residents living alone as well as double-elderly households across the district. Beyond extending warm greetings and inquiring after their health and daily well-being, we shared the latest updates on local community developments, ensuring our senior citizens remain closely connected with our neighbourhood.

Most encouragingly, our youth volunteer team brings together talented young professionals from diverse fields, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, nursing, and legal practice. During the visits, our volunteers drew upon their respective expertise, offering guidance on health cultivation, daily caregiving, and essential legal advice, to address residents' concerns from multiple angles and provide comprehensive, tailored support.

Working tirelessly to fulfil their civic responsibility, these young professional volunteers have injected vibrant energy and positive values into our neighbourhood. Moving forward, I will continue to collaborate with our youth to reach every corner of the district, delivering warmth and tangible assistance directly to the residents who need it most.

與居民同聚，凝聚社區正能量！8月17日當天下午，卓兒非常榮幸與廣大街坊居民歡聚一堂，共同舉行「慶祝香港回歸29週年溫馨社區日：丹拿區關愛大使頒獎典禮暨賀龍舟勇奪雙冠軍」活動，一同分享喜悅，展現丹拿社區的和諧與活力。大家一同慶賀龍舟隊勇奪佳績，這充分體現了我們團隊同舟共濟、奮發向上的體育精神與社區凝聚力。

🎖️ 頒發大使委任狀 ‧ 丹拿區關愛大使頒獎典禮
「關愛大使」的計劃是希望通過不同居民能互相交流，鼓勵更多居民積極参與地區事務，建立人人為社區、社區是我家、親切溫暖的歸屬感。當日共有110位居民獲委任為丹拿區關愛大使。同時，藉著這次機會我們亦為社區加入多位本區青年義工力量，希望在未來能攜手並肩為地區服務，看見社區有任何突發事情或需要改善的都可以立即通知本人或議員辦事處，繼續守望相助，為社區注入源源不絕的溫情與愛心。

Gathering alongside local residents to foster positive energy across our community! On the afternoon of 17 August, I was deeply honoured to join neighbours to host the "Warm Community Day: Tanner Community Care Ambassador Award Ceremony & Dragon Boat Victory Celebration". Together, we shared in our collective joy, showcasing the harmony and vitality of the Tanner neighbourhood. As we celebrated our dragon boat team's outstanding achievements, the occasion vividly demonstrated our team's shared commitment, perseverance, and strong community cohesion.

🎖️ Presenting Letters of Appointment — Tanner Community Care Ambassador Award Ceremony

The "Community Care Ambassador" initiative aims to facilitate dialogue among residents and encourage greater civic participation in local affairs, cultivating a warm sense of belonging where "everyone serves the community, and the community is our home". On the day, a total of 110 residents were officially appointed as Tanner Community Care Ambassadors. Furthermore, we took this opportunity to welcome a vibrant group of local youth volunteers into our community service framework. Moving forward, we hope to work shoulder to shoulder in serving the district. Should any unexpected incidents arise or areas for improvement be identified, ambassadors can immediately notify myself or the councillor's office, continuing to foster mutual support and inject continuous warmth and care into our neighbourhood.

The grand occasion was graced by distinguished officiating guests who presented the awards, including Mr. Wang Qingfu, Second-Level Researcher, Hong Kong Island Division, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR; Mr Zhuang Shubao, President of the PRC and Hong Kong Youth Volunteer Exchange Association; and Mr Yuan Jian, Editor-in-Chief of Bauhinia Magazine. We extend our sincere gratitude to them for delivering words of recognition and encouragement to our Care Ambassadors and dragon boat athletes.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our guests for their attendance, our dedicated volunteer partners for their tireless hard work, and all participating residents for their steadfast support, making this highly meaningful community initiative a resounding success!

中午一落機，卓兒便隨即趕回辦事處投入工作！稍作整理後，便馬不停蹄地與我們熱心的義工一同出發，前往社區開設流動服務街站。💪💙

無論行程多繁忙，服務社區永遠是我們的首要任務。看見熟悉的街坊、聽到大家溫暖的問候，所有的疲憊頓時一掃而空！我們繼續在街頭聽取大家對社區議題的寶貴意見，了解每一位居民的實際需要。

感謝每一位始終並肩同行的義工朋友，以及停下腳步與我們交流的街坊！卓兒和團隊會繼續保持這份熱情與衝勁，無縫接軌，精益求精地服務丹拿社區❤️

Having landed just this afternoon, I headed straight back to the office to resume duties without delay. Following a swift debrief, our team, alongside our dedicated volunteers, set off immediately to launch mobile street stations across the neighbourhood. 💪💙

Regardless of how demanding the schedule may be, serving our community remains our paramount priority. Seeing familiar faces and receiving such warm greetings from local residents lifted all sense of fatigue in an instant! We continued to gather invaluable feedback on local affairs directly from the ground, ensuring a clear understanding of the genuine needs of our community.

Our heartfelt thanks go to every volunteer who walks beside us, as well as every neighbour who stopped by for a chat. My team and I remain steadfast in our commitment, striving for continuous excellence and delivering seamless service to the residents of Tanner Community. ❤️

經與健威花園管理處溝通，管理處回覆指現正對大堂的告示板及宣傳品展示位置進行統一整理與規範，旨在平衡屋苑大堂的整體觀感、環境整潔及住戶接收資訊的需求。

This morning, I have received messages from Healthy Gardens residents pointing out that service posters previously put up by our Office and the Tanner Care Team at the entrances of Blocks A–F were no longer visible.

Upon communicating with the Healthy Gardens Management Office, they clarified that they are currently reorganizing and standardizing the display areas on lobby noticeboards and promotional materials, aiming to balance overall aesthetics, cleanliness, and residents' information needs.

【緊急通告】繼園街路口水管工程：臨時交通及受影響供水範圍
【Emergency Notice】Waterpipe Repairs, Temporary Traffic & Water Suspension at Kai Yuen Street Junction

本辦事處在8月5日與水務署人員現場溝通後，署方將於今晚起連續兩晚展開水管維修及路面復修工程。相關時間、受影響供水範圍及臨時交通安排如下：

一、工程時間（連續兩晚夜間施工）
• 2026年8月5日（今晚）至 8月6日（明晨）：20:00 – 06:00
• 2026年8月6日（明晚）至 8月7日（後晨）：20:00 – 06:00
• 預計於 8月7日早上 06:00 前完成維修及路面修補。

二、暫停鹹水（沖廁水）供給範圍
維修工程期間，以下屋苑將於上述夜間時段暫停鹹水供應，請居民留意：

• 七姊妹道：100 – 114 號（雙數）
• 丹拿道：44 – 60 號（包括：友福園、丹桂閣）
• 繼園臺：富雅花園、金運大廈、海港閣
• 繼園街：柏蔚山、吉利洋樓、輝濃臺、和景閣、美景新廈
• 百福花園

三、臨時交通安排
• 由電照街轉上繼園街的馬路，將由雙線改為單線雙程行車。

2. Flushing Water Suspension Areas: Flushing water supply will be suspended during the above overnight hours in:

• Tsat Tsz Mui Road: Nos. 100–114 (Even numbers)

• Kai Yuen Terrace: Wealthy Garden, Kingsway Mansion, Harbour Court

3. Temporary Traffic Arrangements
• The road turning from Tin Chiu Street to Kai Yuen Street will be changed from 2 lanes to a single lane for alternate two-way traffic.

社區通告：有關繼園街路口滲水及維修工程事宜
Community Notice: Water Seepage and Repair Works at Kai Yuen Street Junction

本人早前接獲居民反映繼園街路口出現滲水情況，隨即與水務署展開緊密溝通及現場跟進。經溝通協調後，水務署將於本星期內正式展開相關維修工程，以儘快解決路口滲水問題，維護社區道路安全。

溫馨提示：
施工及滲水期間路面或會較為濕滑，請行經上述路段的市民及街坊特別小心地滑，注意腳下安全。

本辦事處將繼續密切跟進工程進度，盡量減少工程對居民日常出入的影響。如對上述工程有任何查詢，歡迎隨時致電6432 4282與我們聯絡。

Following feedback regarding water seepage at the junction of Kai Yuen Street, our office has been in close liaison with the Water Supplies Department (WSD) for follow-up actions. Upon coordination, the WSD will commence repair works within this week to resolve the seepage issue as soon as possible and ensure public road safety.

Safety Reminder: As the road surface may be slippery during this period, pedestrians and residents are strongly advised to watch their step and beware of slippery surfaces when passing through the area.

卓兒十分榮幸獲得特區政府委任《物業管理服務條例》（第626章）下的上訴委員團成員。感謝特區政府的信任與肯定！

隨著《物業管理服務條例》下的發牌制度於 2023 年全面落實，優質、專業且規範化的物業管理，已成為提升居民居住品質與社區治理關鍵的一環。上訴委員團負責處理就物業管理業監管局（監管局）有關牌照、續期條件及紀律處分等決定的上訴案件，確保制度行之有效、公平公正。在地區服務與丹拿社區的日常工作中，卓兒經常接觸到不同屋苑的物業管理、業主權益、樓宇維修及保養等事宜，深切體會到良好物管對保障居民生活與資產價值的重要性。

在未來三年任期內，卓兒定當恪守職責，秉持公平、公正、客觀及專業的態度履行上訴委員團工作；同時，我亦會繼續將前線累積的地區治理與物管實務經驗帶入委員會，推動物管行業專業化發展，為廣大市民及業主築牢安居保障！

I am deeply honoured to be appointed by the Government as a member of the Appeal Panel under the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626) for a period of three years, with effect from August 1, 2026. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Government for its trust and confidence.

The licensing regime for property management companies and property management practitioners in accordance with the Ordinance has been fully implemented from August 1, 2023. According to the Ordinance, any person aggrieved by the decisions made by the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) in respect of licensing and disciplinary matters, including decisions regarding the issuance or renewal of a licence, licence conditions, disciplinary hearings and orders, may lodge an appeal. An appeal tribunal appointed from the Appeal Panel will hear the appeal and may confirm, vary or reverse any decision, finding or order, ensuring that the regulatory system operates with complete fairness, objectivity, and transparency.

In our day-to-day district work across the community, I frequently engage with local housing estates on property management, building maintenance, and owners' rights, recognising firsthand the essential role sound property management plays in safeguarding both quality of life and property values.

Throughout my three-year term, I pledge to discharge my duties with the utmost diligence and impartiality. At the same time, I look forward to bringing our frontline experience in district governance and practical property management to the Panel, contributing to the professionalisation of the sector and ensuring robust protection for local residents and property owners alike.

My sincere thanks once again to the Government for this appointment, and to all our neighbours for your continued support and trust. My office and I remain steadfastly committed to serving our community with dedication.
